| From the COCKPIT: The flush deck and non-slip deck has a number of hatches to access the engines, fuel tanks and steering compartments; a large and secure working area. The Cockpit has generous coamings which are fitted with stainless steel rails and scupper ports in the transom to discharge deck water. A deck-wash system is fitted. A central door to the WHEELHOUSE accommodation with fully equipped GALLEY to port complete with 4-ring gas hob/oven cooker, generous storage and preparation surfaces and a full size stainless steel sink with H/C pressurised tap. There are three stowage lockers in the supporting funiture with 'crash bar' fitted and a refidgerator is installed within the adjacent helm seat plinth. Opposite, the 'U'-shape dinette has comfortable cushioned upholstery and large stowage lockers below. The pedestal table could be simply modifed to provide a double berth conversion if required. The upholstered NAVIGATORS seat (Stbd) offers a panoramic view for two crew with additional storage below. A charting area and chart storage locker is fitted forward. The HELM CONSOLE to port has a comfortable wheel position angled to the KAB 301 suspension seat for the helmsman with engine instrumentation and electronic aids all easily viewed from the seated position. Auxiliary controls are also mounted within easy reach. The forward windows each have pantograph wipers and the side windows have sliding openers as do the rear bulkhead half-drops. The accommodation is fitted out in hardwood veneer, high quality carpeting and linings which together with downlighting provides a very spacious and relaxing environment. The companionway leading to the forward accommodation has the HEADS COMPARTMENT to port installed with an electric Jabsco marine toilet, wash/hand basin (H&C) and shower. The compartment has easy clean surfaces and a significant access hatch to the rear of the console for servicing the electrical installations. The spacious OWNER'S CABIN has a generous double berth with attractive hardwood lockers, hanging spaces and access to the chain locker; a deck-head opening hatch for additional light, ventilation and emergency escape. To starboard a GUEST CABIN provides two bunk berths and some storage. The whole of the accommodation benefits from the Eberspacher warm air heating system, including the front windscreens. All windows are tinted and have purpose-made covers. The quality and expertise shown by the builder typifies what LOCHIN is all about and is more than demonstrated in this craft. |

| The twin Caterpillar 3126TA engines, each rated at 426 mhp (approx. 420hp)fitted with reduction gearboxes driving through 2" stainless steel shafts to 5-bladed NAB propellers fitted with rope cutters. The controls are Microcommander single lever electronic units. Service details are available. The fuel tanks are fabricated in polypropalene each of 200 gallons (total 400 gallons) providing a comfortable cruising range of about 300 miles. | |||

| Three banks of two 12v batteries serve both engines and auxiliary services by selection master switching. 240v shore power is provided with battery charger system and several 240v outlets strategically installed throughout the accommodation. The cabin accommodation is well-lit mainly by downlight fittings set into the headliners and additionally night lights (red) are mounted over the helm and chart table areas. The usual navigation lights and external working lights are fitted. |
