Description/Condition

Designed by Spencer Lincoln, and commissioned by and experienced yachtsmen,Crucero was built by Lyman-Morse with great attention to layout and accessability to systems.  Making the boat easy to maintain by an owner.   Recently, Crucero was upgraded by some of the best craftsmen in the yachting world.  In 2008/2009, she underwent a refit at the Lyman Morse boat yard in Maine, where no expense was spared, with her upgrading continuing right up through this year.  Clean thoughout, Crucero shows like virtually new.   With an inordinate amount of storage, Crucero has been equipped with the best of gear and lacks nothing.  Her classic "down-east" styling and gleaming surfaces make her a conversation piece at anchorages everywhere. Crucero is turn-key  - just bring your clothes aboard and plot your course!

Trades considered  – Owner would like to go back to SAIL.

Please present quality 45-53’ cruising sailboats in well maintained condition

Walk through

Board CRUCERO via the transom door or the easy boarding steps located alongside to port and starboard.  Boarding is facilitated with well placed s.s.hand rails. The large aft cockpit features high sides, large hatches in the sole and verticals, allowing access to storage areas, tanks and systems. The sole cleaned and oiled teak with no bungs.

Walking forward and up one step and enter the pilothouse/main salon area.  The main salon is bright and airy with good visibility and venitlation.  Immediately to starboard is a bar area with lots of built-in storage for glasses and bottles. Forward of the bar cabinet are two lounging seats with storgae within and a built in side table between them.  Opposite the chairs is a long salon dining table with an straight shaped settee.  The settee offers much room for storage.

Forward of the settee is the helm station and two comfortable helms seats.

All cabinetry is made of warnished teak with panel inserts made of caning.

Going down two steps, one enters the galley area.  The well designed galley offers massive anounts of storage and amenities typically found on larger boats.  With it's open arrangement, the cook doesn't feel like they are not aprt of the party in the salon.

Across from the galley is the head.  It offers plenty of natural light and venitlation as well as a separate shower stall with a proper Lexan hinged door.

Forward of the head is the v-berth. A large hatch with screen and shade make this a wonderful sleeping/resting place. A small seat is nestled in the front of the berth.  The hull is lined with a beautiful teak ceiling, with a hand rubbed effect finish.
