1995 MAN V-10 Diesel Motor was salvaged from a yacht fire. Boat burned to water line but did not sink and our service dept was able to salvage this motor in pretty good condition. The belts are charred but still in place and the internal parts are very clean. The fire did little damage outside of scorching some of the components. The motor was filled with oil and has been stored for a few years. The transmission is attached and included. The engine turns and could be up and running with a few replacement parts, according to our mechanics. The motor ran great before the fire and has reportedly under 1000 hrs. The MFR plate is a little hard to read but the Model is D2840LE401, the serial no.looks like 4737942891A3 also there is the no. 539648 and 603KW@2300 RPM - which is 820 HP.
