Unique in the industry, the Marlow Explorer 72E Long Range Cruiser is designed with a bulbous bow developed for high speed. The high speed bulb design allows the Explorer 72E-LR to perform smoothly and fuel efficient at a top speed of 21 knots with standard engines. With a range of 1,300 miles at a cruise speed of 19 knots and over 3,000 miles at trawler speed, this new offering is built to the top world class certified by Lloyds GMBS for Offshore Class One (Ocean Class). The Marlow Explorer 72E-LR sports a totally new pilothouse, longer waterline and additional fuel capacity compared to her sister ships. Continuing the design principal of the very best and most technologically advanced, the 72E-LR interiors will be built using Nida Core Honeycomb, veneered to the company's lofty standards in their own fully staffed and equipped mill. You will find no plywood beneath the exquisite furniture and panels in the Explorer 72E-LR. Nida Core Honeycomb composite interiors save thousands of pounds in weight and increase the strength of the interior panels of three compared to plywood. With her 20' 1-1/2" beam, the immediate impression is you are aboard a much larger yacht. And the honeycomb does not rot, peel or warp, ever. The structure of the Explorer 72E-LR is a study in advanced engineering and her exterior synthetic teak is another groundbreaking achievement. Developed by the Marlow design team, the proprietary synthetic teak looks precisely like teak and saves approximately 500 board feet of teak per yacht and 1.500 lbs. in weight. At the same time, maintenance is reduced and varnish will last 3-4 times as long. |

Marlow Yachts are limited production yachts built under constant supervision and stringent quality control procedures. Very few products in the world undergo the battery of tests and scrutiny designed to make your yachting experience one of pleasure. The major vacuum bagged components are built in only three major molds constituting a marvelous technological advance that eliminates dozens of potential leaks and unsightly joint areas. Resin infusion is extensively used where appropriate. The Marlow Explorer exterior finish is among the finest on earth and will look like fine porcelain for years to come. Marlow yachts are designed and built to cross the oceans of the world in comfort and safety while the proprietary Strut Keel© technology allows inland and island cruising with fully protected running gear. Marlow Yachts are certified by Bureau Veritas, Lloyds Register, and ISO 9001, a status enjoyed by less than a handful of pleasure powerboat manufacturers worldwide. |
