This yacht is a rare opportunity to purchase a 5 year old vessel with very low hours.  Originally built for an owner in Europe who used her very little but maintained her very well.  Due to the challenging economic times in Europe the owner has shipped the yacht to the Marlow Marine Sales facility on Snead Island, Florida so we could sell her in the U.S., where brokerage sales for high quality yachts is very strong.  She was built for Europe to CE standards.  She is currently being upgraded to include the necessary transformers to provide connectivity for U.S. 60 cycle power.

She has the highly desirable CAT 3412’s @1400HP, a fully enclosed command bridge, and a satin teak interior.  She has 4 guest staterooms and 3 heads on the lower deck and features separate crew cabin for two with an outside entrance. This yacht is perfect for a full or part time captain and mate. If crew is not your style then two people would have no problem taking her out for an afternoon cruise. She easily cruises at 20 knots and is capable of crossing oceans at 8-9 knots. You won’t find a more versatile yacht than a Marlow 78.

The salon feels very spacious as you enter from the aft doors. You can see right through to the dinning room and galley.  The salon has a modern feel with cream colored furniture and chrome lamps. Just forward of the salon seating area you will find a nice office area to starboard and a bar with refrigerator, ice maker, and a full size wine cooler.

  • Uline full size wine cooler
  • Uline beverage refigerator with Ice maker
  • Built in bar sink
  • Bose Lifestyle surround sound system
  • 42" Sharp Aquos LCD TV with lift
  • Large desk with file and storage drawers
  • Buffet cabinet with glass doors for display

Galley and Pilothouse

The galley up design gives the cook a clear view of the horizon and the sea ahead. Any cook that has felt uneasy at sea will tell you having the galley up with the ability to see forward when underway is extremely important.  This fully equipped galley provides generous cabinet space and large open granite countertops. One of the great advantages of the enclosed bridge up top is it eliminates the need for a lower helm station, this allows the creation of a large dining table right next to the galley. This area becomes a favorite gathering place underway.

  • 4 Sub Zero refrigerator drawers
  • Large in counter top loading freezer
  • Miele Cook top
  • Large Microwave
  • Miele Oven
  • Trash compactor
  • Mueke Dishwasher

Master Stateroom

The full beam Master Stateroom with portlights at eye level on either side makes you feel like you are in a much larger Yacht. You will not get the closed in feeling you do in many yachts that do not provide this open space and natural light.  The king size bed is on centerline with abundant drawer storage and hanging lockers that will allow you to keep personal items onboard for extended cruising.   Additional storage is located in drawers under the bed.  Shoji screens to port and starboard permit light to enter the stateroom while providing privacy in marinas.  The substantial stainless steel ports on both sides permit cross-ventilation when open and maintain watertight integrity at sea.  Aft on both sides are light and airy his and hers heads with a common shower.  Granite counter tops, Grohe fixtures, Vacuflush toilets are but a few of the luxuries in the heads. A full-size washer and dryer are located in the forward locker in the Master Stateroom.

Vip Stateroom

The VIP Stateroom will make your family and guests feel welcome.  Developed for the owner’s family, this stateroom includes a king-size bed, two large hanging lockers, six large drawers and additional lockers.  It is light and airy, due to the large overhead opening deck hatches, Oceanaire screens and blackout shades.  The en suite oversize head is also light and airy, with granite counters, full size shower stall, Vacuflush toilet, Grohe fixtures and large mirror.  A separate door to the companionway allows this head to be used as a day head or to be shared with the adjacent starboard guest stateroom.

Port Guest Stateroom

The port guest stateroom is comfortable with twin bunks seperated by a nightstand and passageway.  This stateroom also has a private head and separate stall shower.  The hanging locker is tall and deep and guests will be happy to call this space home for any period of time.

Starboard Bunk Room

This room is perfect for those additional guests or children. Two bunk beds and a flat screen t.v. make this room fuctional and comfortable to be in.

Crew Cabin

The crew cabin is designed to make the crew self sufficient. They have bunks, a full head and shower, microwave, refrigerator, hanging lockers, storage drawers, and a desk. The crew can access the space from a hatch in the cockpit at sea and through the large transom door when at the dock or at anchor. This size vessel is often run with one full time crew member augmented by occasional help.

  • GE Microwave
  • Sharp flat screen TV
  • Stainless steel chest freezer
  • Uline refrigerator with ice maker
  • Twin bunks
  • Captains Desk with swing out stool

Command Bridge

The large helm console houses 3 Raymarine multifuncion displays. These are networked and can have any desired information on any of these screens. The CAT engine displays, autopilot, and VHF raidio are all in easy reach. Overhead you find the status of the yacht systems. The tank tender displays the fluid level of fuel, water, and waste water tanks. A graphic of the yacht has indicator lights that show if a bilge pump is running, high water alarms, high exhaust temperature, and there is an indicator for the running and anchor lights. The stabilizer control and bildge pump switches are overhead. The helm area features two comfortable Stidd helm chairs. Immediately behind the helm is a large seating area with a teak table.
