Maxum boats were produced by Brunswick up until 2009, when the model line was ended. They built runabouts ranging from 17’ up, as well as small and mid-sized sport yachts. These boats were marketed as more up-scale than the Bayliner brand but less costly than the Sea Ray brand. A large number of Maxums were built, and at the company’s high-point it produced nearly 2,000 hulls a year. As a result, there are plenty of used Maxums on the open market in a wide range of sizes.
