This 1984 Moody 31 Mk I is a good example of these sought after cruising yachts from Moody with fin keel and bathing platform, she is ideal for East Coast sailing. This Moody 31 is currently lying in the Spain, but is about to be transported by road to the UK. This yacht has been well maintained and updated over the years. This Moody 31 MK I offers six berths in two cabins and the saloon with two double berths and approx. 6' 1" maximum headroom. Forward is a V berth with infill which converts to double and good storage with hanging locker, shelved cabinet and mirror. Bookshelf at forward end and large under berth storage lockers. The aft cabin has a good double/king sized berth, hanging locker, shelves and cave lockers and also under berth storage. Two single settee berths in saloon with drop leaf teak saloon table. The upholstery and foam was all replaced in 2008.

The L shaped Galley is to starboard with Formica work surface, single stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water, from engine and 220v immersion heater fitted 2009. Plastimo two burner gas cooker with grill and oven and electronic ignition new 2006, top-loading fridge new compressor and plate fitted 2011 and lots of storage. Hot and cold pressurised water system supplied via calorifer. Forward facing chart table with lots of storage space.

Separate heads compartment with marine toilet, wash basin and shower head. Floor fully carpeted. Heated throughout by an Webasto diesel cabin heating system with two outlets.

Masthead Bermudan rigged sloop. Silver anodised aluminium mast and boom. Spreaders. Stainless steel standing rigging Terylene running rigging led aft to cockpit. Fully battened slab reefing mainsail with lazyjacks. Detachable inner forestay, 2008. Profurl headsail furling system, new bearings 2012. Bowsprit 2 x Lewmar winches . 2 x cruising chute winches. 2 x halyard winches.

White GRP coach roof with light grey moulded non-skid decks. Cast iron fin keel. Self-draining cockpit and anchor well. Alloy toe rails. Stainless steel rails and guard wires. Skeg hung rudder.
