Built in the UK in 1985, the boat is designed for family cruising, longer holidays and long-term liveaboard. Two separate sleeping cabins so suitable boat for two couples cruising together. Fin keel, modern design and good turn of speed, these boats have been cruised extensively .
"Paper Moon" has been based in Plymouth, UK with the current owners who bought the boat in 2010, initially living aboard, but since have moved ashore and are now looking to downsize.
The interior has numerous berths and plenty of seating. The cushion covers are probably original but still in good condition. The galley is to port and the chart table is to starboard. There are two toilet compartments on the Moody 37, the aft en-suite and the forward semi en-suite.
The Eberspacher heater unit was reconditioned in 2010. This Moody 37 has a good range of electronics for long distance sailing, including Radar, autopilot and Navtex. There is a sprayhood, which is not photographed as it was undergoing repairs at the time.
"Paper Moon" is a spacious yacht, strongly fitted out with lots of woodwork on display down below. The exterior gelcoat is in good condition with the original deck finish in non-slip.
Comments - - - For those who require comfortable cruising and possible long-term sailing at a very good entry level price, this boat is ready to take you offshore. Also is suitable for a large family or friends sharing. Practical and well designed with good headroom and easy to walk around on.
