Only 19 Moody 44's were built between 1972 and 1978. A long refit was completed in 2007 and she was re-launched in 2008. Surveyed in December 2007.

Up to nine berths in three cabins. 7 ft approx maximum headroom. Two heads compartments with marine toilets, basins and one shower (option for second shower). Pressurised hot and cold fresh water system heated by engine calorifier or 240V immersion heater. 240V ring mains system with sockets, immersion and battery charger. Galley with sink, paraffin cooker with oven, top loading fridge and various crockery and cutlery. Teak flooring.

Fore peak with twin bed. Aft to forward heads compartment. Aft to saloon with two bunks and cot bunk. Plenty of storage and extending table. The chart table is to port with navigators bunk. The galley is opposite and to starboard. Engine under companionway with excellent access from all sides. Aft of the galley is another single bunk.The aft owners cabin has twin beds and en-suite heads compartment.

Masthead bermudan ketch rig, both masts deck stepped. Anodised aluminium masts and booms by Proctor (75/79). Stainless steel standing rigging, 2007. Terylene running rigging, 2007. Spinnaker pole. Four Lewmar sheet winches. Three mast mounted Lewmar halyard winches. Four additional winches. Slab reefing to mainsail and mizzen. Kemp Furlex headsail furling system.

Located aft of companionway under cockpit. Yanmar 4JH-3TE marine diesel engine rebuilt in 2008. 75 hp. Four cylinders. Fresh water cooled. Shaft drive to three blade fixed propeller. (New prop and shaft in 2011). Morse type engine controls. Approx 80 gallons fuel capacity. This give a range of some 500nm at a cruising speed of some 7 knots. New alternator and engine mounts 2011. Approx 200 hours on engine since re-build.

Four 12V batteries in two banks charging via engine alternator and 240V shore power charger. Two new domestic bnatteries in 2011.
