Manufacturer Info

Founded in 1971, Najad is another of the quality Scandinavian serious cruising yacht brands, with models spanning 31-57ft. The latest range, which starts at 35ft, includes aft cockpit, centre cockpit and deck saloon designs, all of which are intended to offer a perfect balance between performance, handling, comfort and security at sea. In 2011 the builder of the Nord West motorboat range bought Najad, moving production to the island of Orust off Sweden’s west coast. The company is a family owned business, run by Benny Martinsson, the son of a local fisherman, and all models are designed in house.

Broker's Comments:

Morning Star is an outstanding, fast and comfortable ocean-going yacht in true Scandinavian style.  Her blue hull sets her apart from the normal Najad red livery.  Designed to be easily handled by a crew of two, she has a large, safe centre cockpit, wide side decks and a powerful rig.  The accommodation below is sensible and practical with the emphasis on comfort.  The aft cabin is large with an en-suite bathroom, pilot berth in the walkway and arm chairs in the saloon.

MORNING STAR was coded for charter though never chartered without one of the owners being in charge.  It is believed that everything is in place for re-certification if required.

This vessel can be sold with a VAT invoice should the new owner be in a position to recover the VAT.
