SWAN 100 FD
The Swan 100 FD is a modern incarnation of the classic blue-water cruiser, an art that has been one of the hallmarks of Nautor’s Swan over the past four decades.

The Hull
The lines of the Swan 100 FD are instantly recognisable as that of German Frers, the designer of Swan yachts for over 20 years. Frers has combined his race-design knowledge, with the elegance and stlye characteristic only to that of a Swan.

The Bow
Her displacement is 72 tons, of which 20 tons is within the 4-metre deep keel, giving the Swan 100 an exceptionally good power-to-weight ratio for what is principally a cruising yacht. the standard keel comprises a steel fin with a lead ballast bulb.

The Deck
The deck of the Swan 100 FD is light and stiff, built in pre=preg carbon over a honeycomb core and cured in a giant oven. the yacht has a large and uncluttered deck covered in beautiful 60x12mm thick teak battens on side decks, coach roof, coamings and cockpit. All hatches are flush with the deck and fittings are kept to a minimum. The captive winches are cleverly hidden away, for example under the helmsman's seats.

The Stern
Garage which can house a rigid-inflatable dinghy of up to 4.3 metres in length.

The Saloon
Stepping inside the Swan 100FD, one of the most striking features is the wealth of beautiful large teak surfaces, hand  polished to an immaculate satin finish. The emphasis is on comfort, style and functionality. The storage and ppower systems on the Swan 100FD are designed to enable the crew to sail for days and weeks on end, without the need for replenishment.

The Guest Cabin
Selected light teak with hand rubbed satin finish used for visible woodwork. Vinyl covered lightweight removable overhead panels in accommodation areas.
