This is not your average New York 36. This boat has a modified bulb keel (drawing 7' 6"), 4/5 fractional Carbon Mast, and other modifications which focus on winning races. And win she does. With a very complete inventory of racing sails Bingo! has done several races from Annapolis to Newport and winning the Marblehead to Halifax race in 2009 beating the Cal 40 Sinn Fein on corrected time in The PHRF 5 class. Price is reduced for quick sale but firm. |

Bingo! is not your average New York 36. Not only does she look fast, she is a proven winner. In 2009, Bingo! was first in class in the Annapolis to Newport race and First in Class from Marblehead to Halifax. In 2011 Bingo! was 3rd in class from Annapolis to Newport. In 2007 Bingo! was 3rd in the CBYRA South East region High Point Series. Over the last couple of years he has mostly raced in local Chesapeake Bay races with friends and family getting to know the boat. There is a more than adequate list of racing, cruising, storm, roller furling, and spinnaker sails. Recently times have changed and the owner and his family have moved on to other boats. The boat has been modified to maximize the racing performance whether you are racing on the Chesapeake Bay or off-shore. The fractional rigged Carbon Fiber Mast with adjustable backstays allow the mainsail trimmer to maximize the draft and power from the main. The deeper draft specially designed keel allows better control and stability. With a PHRF Rating of 108 on the Chesapeake, the boat is primed for the next owner to go out and win some silver. Check out all the details. It's a perfect opportunity. |

Starting in the bow, Bingo! has a full stainless bow pulpit with bow nav lights attached all the way forward. The Harken Roller Furling genoa helps control the sail area in the bow. Starboard and port cleats, pad eye for spinaker foreguy, and bracket for the spinaker pole on the starboard side are appropriately placed on the foredeck. The life lines are all consistent with Off Shore Racing Rules and the toe rail is aluminum set up for racing and hooking shackles blocks or likes. On the foward most part of the cabin top is a good sized opening hatch for forward take downs or passing up new sails. Next aft is a ventillator for the forward head. The 4/5 Fractional Rig Mast has 2 sets of spreaders. Ockums displays are mounted on the mast under the boom. and the base of the spring loaded boom vang is attached at the base of the mast. All halyards are led cleanly and efficiently through turning blocks and lead aft. Two eye rings are mounted on the cabin top just forward of the mast to attach loose halyards or other loose items. Rod rigging throughout hold the mast up. On the starboard deck a light prizm has been installed to provide extra light over the Navigation Station. Also along both side of the cabin top is a teak handrail to hold onto while moving forward or aft. Cam Cleats, sheet stoppers and winches are carefully installed to maximize time and motion while trimming or changing sails on the cabin top aft and over the companionway. The companionway slide is tinted to allow light in below. Sheet bags and winch handle holders are again appropriately placed for clean efficient use. The companionway slide is also ventillated. Ockum gauges are placed on either side of the companionway as well as stereo speakers for entertainment. Stay track cars are fully adjustable to maximize sail trim. The back stay trim is forward in the cockpit and the traveller is aft just ahead of the wheel. Large storage lockers are located under the seats on either side of the wheel. The starboard locker contains most of the switches and gauges for operating the engine. A clear plastic coverplate allows the helmsman to see the gauges. The shut off is aft. The gear shift and throttle are on the post in front of the wheel. There is also an autopilot. Manual Bilge Pump, Shore Power hook up, Radar tower, and rudder post are also aft in the cockpit area. Stern running light is mounted to the aft pulpit. |

Going down the companionway ladder which is a stainless steel frame with wood steps, you will immediately recognize that the interior of this boat is set up for racing. Long and large bunks are aft (upper and lower on both sides). The bunks surround the engine box in the middle under the companionway steps. Although you need to move the companionway steps, there is total access to all sides of the engine once you lift the engine cover. Hammocks over top of the top bunks can be used for storing gear with other storage areas under the bunk cushions. Attractive varnished wood gives the boat a classic comfortable look with the Nav. Station on the Starboard side and the galley on Port. The galley is straight forward with a stainless two burner propane stove/oven and a Stainless galley sink on either side of a large storage locker. The Nav. Station has a curved seat facing forward so seating is comfortable and secure on starboard or port tack. The switch panel is along the starboard side, along with the VHF, and AM/FM/CD Player. The chart table is lighted by a deck prizm overhead. Radar, chart plotter, and Ockam information is also displayed. Forward to starboard is an open locker for gear or can be a hanging locker. On port is the head. All the way forward, the owner has elected to remove the vee berth and use the space for storing the sails, sheets, and other gear. (All the pieces for the vee berth will be included if you want to restore the berth). Rememeber this boat is set up to race, but it could easily be made into a cruising boat. |
