SALON/GALLEY: Entering from the cockpit brings you into the salon/galley area. To starboard is a dinette and custom Scott Boyle hi-low table, to port is an L-shaped settee. There is abundant storage space under the settees. Forward of the dinette is the upgraded Asko washer and dryer compartment. New custom fitted carpets throughout boat and all six side windows open.
All lighting throughout is Italian Cantalupi lights with optional dimmer switches in saloon, pilot house and owner stateroom. Also Gold plated salon bulkheads lights.
The Nordhavn 47 galley is impressive. The stove with custom cutting board and oven is a Thermador model, the GE convection microwave was lowered to a more comfortable height to work with. Miele dishwasher, Trash Compactor, Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer 700TC with an ice maker, Y-valve sink drain for grey water or direct overboard discharge, Cantalupi lights added to the under-counter areas, granite counters, raised backsplash, under counter mounted double S/S sink and fixtures through out the yacht are Grohe.
PILOTHOUSE: Up five steps from the saloon/galley area brings you into the large command center. The center piece of this pilothouse is the Stidd helm chair and the vast array of navigational electronics. There is a large pilot berth aft of the settee.
All doors are Diamond Sea Glaze and the doors are all Dutch style. Two red overhead lights have been added for night vision.
Proceeding below from the pilothouse, there are storage lockers and a Sub Zero freezer in the companionway that brings you into the stateroom areas.
GUEST STATEROOMS: There are two guest staterooms forward. The portside room has a small double berth, both rooms also have pipe berths above. There are numerous drawers and lockers that provided an impressive amount of stowage space.
For ventilation purposes, there are three Lewmar Ocean Series hatches, dorades and four portlights with deadlight covers.
The guest head is forward and is fitted with a Royal Atlantis fresh- water flushing toilet, granite counter top and a separate stall shower with a glass shower door.
OWNER'S STATEROOM: Owner’s stateroom is located amidships. The owner’s berth is a queen size. There are numerous drawers and two large hanging lockers, book shelves and a dresser with mirror above. Doors were added to the bookshelves.
The OSR head has granite counters, numerous storage cabinets and a separate stall shower with glass shower doors. The staterooms have custom bedding and custom Tempurpedic mattresses in all cabins.
All opening portlights are fitted with stainless steel deadlights for safety. Access to the engine room is through an insulated Diamond Sea Glaze door equipped with door dogs, window and optional teak facing.
Winkin has all of the most desirable options available. Two very noteworthy options are the hydraulic bow thruster and the Steelhead Davit. The decision to add these two very expensive options were made for their superior performance and lack of required maintenance. |
