Aurora is actively for sale as her owners anticipate the arrival of their new – fourth – Nordhavn. She has the very attractive qualities of easy maneuverability and interior living accommodations so that she can be handled by an owner operator or provide for a crew. Her specifications include diesel heat and other features for higher latitudes as well as the tropics, and an Atlas power system for worldwide cruising. The outboard profile shows both brute and majestic traits. Twin 600hp Detroit Series 60 diesel engines provide plenty of power. The shafts are supported by twin skegs, and the propellers are in aperture formed by the skegs and skeg mounted rudders, which result in quick and positive steering response. She also has a bulbous bow. With all of the measures that Nordhavn incorporates into the construction Aurora is a delight to run. The interior is warmly appointed, but remains flexible to suit the desires of future owners. There are comfortable sleeping accommodations for six, plus a double bed in the captain’s cabin on the pilothouse deck, and crew accommodations for up to four aft on the lower deck. The nav/com electronics complement is outstanding and includes KVH V7 satcom and Currents night vision system. The exterior has been beautifully maintained, and she has been kept inside a boathouse since delivery. The main decks, pilothouse decks, and flybridge deck are all teak planked. The foredeck is all fiberglass with a molded-in gray non-skid pattern. **Canadian duty paid**
