The 'Puget Sound' designed Trawler Yachts dating from the 1970's are a successful design icon offering style, comfort and able sea-keeping qualities and as such are much sought-after.  Not often does a Puget Sound 45 come on to the market unlike the Puget Sound34, although both offer a good standard of Far Eastern construction and finish by the well established Chung Hwa Boatbuilding Co.

Santac, bought by the present owner about five years ago has been the subject of a full restoration program resulting in a particularly good example with only 1800 engine hours from new.  Based in Sardinia, Santac makes an idea holiday base with opportunities for exploring the Med in beautiful surroundings.

GRP moulded hull and superstructure with over-laid teak decks. Mahogany hatches, portlight and window surrounds.

Twin 120hp Ford Lehman diesels fitted new in 1980.  Shaft drive. Last serviced 2010.  650 gallon fuel capacity.  Bilge fans. Six batteries (2010)  Kohler 5kw generator.

Quality fitted mahogany panelled interior with parquet flooring.  Accommodation for seven in three cabins.
