Manufacturer Info

This builder of saltwater fishing boats is another that has gone through many transitions since its founding; in 1968, it began production with a 19-footer. During the next 40 years Robalo was owned by AMF, Cobia, and then Brunswick before being acquired by its current owner, Chaparral. The quality of the boats varied somewhat through these transitions, but under Chaparral’s direction (beginning in 2001) Robalo re-established itself as a premium builder of extremely high-quality fishing boats. Upon the acquisition construction techniques and materials were thoroughly enhanced and by 2010, every model in the line had been completely re-tooled or developed from scratch. Today, Robalo’s offerings range from an 18’ center console to a 30’ walkaround, plus a dual-console multi-use model line.

Boat Description

Passengers will marvel at the ride control, maneuverability, spaciousness and comfort of the Robalo R-190 Center Console, but what really sets this boat apart are the fishing features usually found only on much larger boats. The 25-gallon integrated livewell has the largest capacity in its class and is conveniently located aft for easy access. Featuring a dedicated pump, a full one inch of insulation and the exclusive EZ Slide hatch, this oversized livewell is a tournament-proven feature that rivals the baitwell systems found on boats twice this size. The standard leaning post is carefully designed to provide maximum comfort, control and some boats that may not offer the added benefit of an integrated livewell, rod holders or optional tackle storage.
