Manufacturer Info

This builder of saltwater fishing boats is another that has gone through many transitions since its founding; in 1968, it began production with a 19-footer. During the next 40 years Robalo was owned by AMF, Cobia, and then Brunswick before being acquired by its current owner, Chaparral. The quality of the boats varied somewhat through these transitions, but under Chaparral’s direction (beginning in 2001) Robalo re-established itself as a premium builder of extremely high-quality fishing boats. Upon the acquisition construction techniques and materials were thoroughly enhanced and by 2010, every model in the line had been completely re-tooled or developed from scratch. Today, Robalo’s offerings range from an 18’ center console to a 30’ walkaround, plus a dual-console multi-use model line.

Boat Description

It’s hard to imagine a bluewater center console fishing boat that compares. Designed for heavy offshore use, the R230 is dry-riding, seaworthy and very fuel efficient. Our wide-open cockpit design provides complete 360 degree access and our high pressure raw water system is powered by a dedicated pump to help keep your boat free of the inevitable mess that’s part of fishing. All batteries, pumps, switches and circuit breakers are located at deck level behind access doors for easy servicing and corrosion protection. Whether you’re fishing or diving, the standard walk through transom door and 142 gallon fuel capacity makes it easy to come and go the distance.
