SAILAWAY FREE is a magnificent vessel. She started life as a standard L4500....being bullet proof built by R and C in South Africa. Being one of the first built she was completely overbuilt..... which is why these legendary vessels command such respect. She has however been completely transformed. No longer does she suffer from the submarining effect that plagued many cats...where ( at speed) the vessel trims stern down and the stern platfroms are underwater thus creating massive turbulance and a relatively slow ride. She has had fully 48 inches added giving her a LOA of 48 ft. She has also had the Cantelever Dingy Davits removed and the upgraded improvement of the alter designs fitted.
