The Ruby Expedition 60 is a semi-displacement vessel capable of traveling wherever your dreams lead.  It is available with regular side decks, or as a wide body version allowing the salon to use the full beam of the boat.  A recent enhancement to the Ruby Expedition 60 design is the addition of a new 12’ “Bonus Room” aft of the Pilothouse!  Use your imagination to fill it with whatever you choose – home theater, office, stateroom...

Space has been designed into this vessel to provide accommodations for three couples plus all the facilities expected by today’s cruising yachts-man.  The engine room has standing headroom and more than sufficient space to hold all the machinery necessities one needs to feel at home on the water.  Single screw or twin, it will all fit in there with room to spare.

The suggested lower deck arrangement of the Ruby Expedition 60 features a full width master stateroom forward with queen-size bed and an ensuite head boasting a unique separate shower room and second vanity/sink.  Two guest staterooms are also included, along with an ensuite head for each.  Each guest stateroom features two twin-size beds.  If you prefer, we can make one stateroom into an office or laundry room, or combine one twin bed with office/laundry facilities.

Notice the empty space forward of the master stateroom.  Like the bonus room, this can optionally be used as you please – storage, crew quarters, or extend the master stateroom forward for a larger room.

The fiberglass hull used for the Ruby Expedition 60 has a successful 25+ year heritage in the commercial fishing industry, having been designed for stability and longevity.  Optional active or passive stabilizer fins, or “flopper stoppers”, and a bulbous bow can be added to reduce any roll and pitch even more.  A bow thruster can easily be added to help make docking a snap.

With a solid fiberglass hull and lightweight but strong foam used for the decking and superstructure, the Ruby Expedition 60 is structurally designed to meet or exceed ABS requirements for motor pleasure yachts.  And, her stability meets or exceeds the U.S. Coast Guard requirement for an offshore passenger vessel.
