Description/Condition

Dear investors, builders, designers, and advisors:

We are proud to announce the launch of the build process for our fantastic 70 foot luxury cruising yacht. She will be gorgeous, indulging, and an absolute joy to be aboard, with all the amenities from a Jacuzzi on board, to the flybridge sun deck, to the water toys, to the flat screen TVs in the five air conditioned staterooms. Most importantly, she will be extremely well built and will be an investment and vacation destination you will treasure for years. All the islands of the Caribbean and the world await you via her, or her sister yachts residing in the Maldives, French Polynesia, the Med, and Australia.

Here is the primer on the amazing team we have assembled to assist in the building of our yacht and the key events that are already happening.
Key Highlights from this week:

1. Alex Simonis, is the naval architect for the yacht. He is one of the most respected architects in the world. Alex confirmed that our plan made sense and he is very excited to bring all his learning's to bear to make the most luxurious and profitable charter 70 foot charter yacht possible. We are in very good hands with Alex.

2. Chris Barry, a world renowned authority on Superyacht building.
Bottom line, we are in great shape with our plans.

3. We engaged with our consultants on the project, including:

a. John Holly: A boat builder in Texas who will advise
b. Diab Fusion: The world renowned hull building company that will construct the all important hull.
c. Tom Ashwell: The original captain of the gorgeous Sabore who oversaw her design and construction. Tom is valuable because he built then captained the yacht on charter for years. Therefore, he knows the potential pitfalls.
d. Bill Springer: Senior Editor of Sail Magazine who will be reviewing and monitoring our build process
e. Captain Jay Williams: Our key systems consultant who is highly engaged on the design of the interior and the systems to ensure they perform well (water, navigation, electronics, Jacuzzi, etc)
a. The Coast Guard: Who will be overseeing all aspects of design and construction to certify the boat is of the highest standards of safety.
We look forward to the launch of the gorgeous yacht that you will enjoy for years with your family and friends, as well as the yacht that will likely have a payoff beyond anything the market has done for years!

Background of builder:

My background covers all, of the major components used in the building of yachts, and the knowledge, of all of the working components. I will hire people with experience in all of the fields, that I lack knowledge in. The lead fiberglass employee, has already used vacuum infusion and has been in the fiberglass business for 14 years, and has already built 25 foot boats with vacuum infusion. The lead carpenter has been building furniture and cabinets for over 17 years. I also have retained the DIAB group to consult and to over see the vacuum infusion process on the building of the first yacht. There engineering department, will do a computer analization of vacuum process, and have some of there people on sight during preparation and the actual forming of hull and the deck. DIAB group has already consulted, and has successfully completed a hull for an 80 foot catamaran. They advise manufactures of boats and yachts on the process of vacuum infusion daily. I have also been through DIAB's vacuum infusion school at school we actually built a 13 foot hull in about 4 hours.

This process ,also, eliminates a lot of the problems with the EPA and OSHA. The single most important part of any yacht is the lay up of the hull, I have hired the best in the industry, to have best possible hull.

I have also rebuilt 41 foot sailboat and a 46 foot Sea Ray that had been sunk.

More on Simonis-Voogd designs:

Simonis is synonymous with elegance and speed
Sunferries Magnetic Island Race Week entry, the Simonis 42 White Pearl, comes out of the highly-regarded international design team office of Alex Simonis and Maarten Voogd.

Simonis and Voogd's designs are found around the world with their super-yachts, powerboats, catamarans, and both cruising and racing monohulls gracing the waterways in Europe, America and New Zealand.

A Simonis design first appeared on the Australian racing circuit in 2000 for the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.

'I came to Australia for the first time in 1994 with a boat then called Broomstick. It was a light- displacement 70 footer which was chartered for the 50th Hobart race. It didn't do too well, but it wetted my appetite to come back again to claim line honors in that amazing race,' Simonis explains.

Focused on this goal the Simonis/Voogd team went back to the drawing board and produced the Cape Town built maxi yacht, Nicorette II.

In 2000 the 80-foot yacht took Sydney Hobart Race line honors. Four years later and with a newer and larger version, the 90-foot Nicorette III was also first across the line.
In 2004 three of Simonis's Fast 42 designs were bought to Australia, initially to work as charter boats on Sydney Harbor. The racing version ended up in Brisbane under the ownership of Greg Poole and re-named Piping Hot. The cruiser/racer version of this design was purchased by Mooloolaba's Tracey Johnstone and with her partner, Gary McCarthy, transformed into the elegant racing vessel White Pearl.

'The Fast 42 design dates back to 1992. We did a custom boat called Orion Express which at the time was one of the first ILC40s in the world under the then relatively new IMS and ILC rules.

'Out of this ILC 40 the Fast 42 was developed by taking the same hull, but extending it to 42 feet to carry the additional weight, and not being built in high tech composites.'

Simonis's original idea was to make a fast, comfortable IMS cruiser /family-racer based o
