Planked in larch, fastened with galvanised boat nails to heavy oak frames.
Sheer strake and 2 planks below + bilge strake in iroko.
High bulwarks all round on close-spaced oak stanchions with cavil rail and heavy capping rail.
The deck is straight-laid in Columbian pine, caulked and recently all seams repayed in pitch.Steel wheel house with steel mess cabin behind. Stern door access.
Midships 6' x 4' hold hatch. Fore hatch.
Steel masts. Hydraulic trawl winch on the fore deck also handles the ground tackle.
Hydraulic steering to steel plate rudder.
Kelvin TS8 8-cyl diesel engine gives 320hp at 1000 rpm.
8 knts at 800rpm economic passage speed.
1800 gallons fuel in 2 steel engine room tanks.
200 gallons fresh water in one steel tank forward.
Petter diesel generator. Hand start. 24v + 110v.
24 circuits. New engine start batteries.
The aft cabin has been very nicely fitted out with a double berth, heads and shower and a wood burning stove.
The main hold is in process of fitting out. Full head-room under a flush deck with ample space for 3 comfortable cabins, galley, heads and bathroom.

It is rare to find such a good example of the ex Scottish fishing boat. She is not an old boat and appears to have been very well maintained in her working life. She is afloat and ready to go. Move aboard immediately. As of Jan 08 the hold conversion is underway and still open for personal choice. A Raeburn with hot water system and galley installed with slate work surfaces and Belfast sink. Work continues. Owner is a local pro boat builder.
