As you board the boat form the wide swim platform, you notice that it has been fitted with a set of removable St Croix stainless steel wave runner chocks. Across the transom is a plumbed fish box and livewell and walk thru transom door. The cockpit is large and easy to get around if fishing utilizing the black anodized single spreader outriggers and rod holders or big enough to relax with friends. Up on the flybridge, you will notice a full complement of engine monitoring gauges in addition to the Caterpillar electronic displays. Navigation will be easy utilizing the full complement of Ray Marine electronics including autopilot, two multi screens, multi data and VHF. For relaxation you can listen to you favorite tunes on the serious stereo system that includes two separate amps and 10 speakers on the bridge alone including sub woofers. There is plenty of seating on the flybridge between the helm and companion seating behind the helm and the “L” shaped seating forward of the helm. Also is a full-on wet bar with sink and ice maker.
Inside you will immediately notice the custom upgraded interior that was installed in 2008. The large “L” shaped salon sofa in done a soft hand rich dark brown leather as the dinette in done in a lighter tan leather. All vertical surfaces are covered in a very rich dark brown rattan. All of this is set off with the high gloss cherry cabinetry. A 32” flat screen has been added since, to make this a truly functional living room and great place to relax after a hard day at play. The galley is located to starboard directly across form the dinette. The galley is well laid out and easy to work in, yet open to the rest of the boat for ease of traffic flow. There is tons of storage in this galley as well.
Moving down below and forward, at the bottom of the steps to strarboard is the third stateroom with a pull out double berth, mirrored bulkhead, reading and indirect lighting. Across the hall is the VIP stateroom with a large double berth, hanging locker, A/C controls, reading and indirect lighting and well as a TV, book shelf, mirrored bulkhead and access to the guest head.
The guest head is full featured including separate stand up shower, full vanity, VacuFlush head and storage including a mirrored medicine cabinet. The guest head is accessed either through the VIP stateroom or hallway passage.
The master stateroom is forward and has a large island pedestal bed. There is loads of storage that includes a five shelve locker to port and an oversized hanging locker to starboard both with full length mirrors. Gunnel shelving is the perfect place for books and things that need to be at an arms reach. Plenty of natural light is supplied by an overhead hatch with retractable sun screen and hull side port lights. Lighting is abundant with reading lights, overhead lighting and indirect lighting. The bright feel is complemented by the mirrored forward bulkhead, giving the stateroom a large feel. To starboard is the access to the master head, which is very large and bright. The vanity is full length with a mirrored upper cabinet, lots of counter space, molded in sink and storage under the vanity. Adjacent to the vanity is a sitting area and VacuFlush head with fold down cover that increases the sitting area. The shower is full size and circular door on tracks. Ventilation is supplied by either a power vent or opening hull side port in the shower.
The Sea Ray 480 Sedan Bridge has been a very popular model for Sea Ray. Once you come aboard you will know why. The boat is extremely well laid out for entertaining as well as cruising and playing.
