Silverton

The state of New Jersey has a long and proud boatbuilding heritage, and Silverton Yachts has been a major player in that marine tradition for more than four decades. Recognized as one of the premier builders of mid-sized bridge boats, the manufacturer’s model range includes a variety of styles, from convertibles to sport bridge designs, motor yachts, and two sport coupe models. The sizes range from 33 to 50 feet. Silverton is now part of the Egg Harbor/Davis/Predator group of manufacturers owned by Dr. Ira M. Trocki, and is also the parent company for Ovation Yachts. These are luxury cruising models sized at 52 and 55 feet that are designed with top-flight accommodations and features, contemporary lines and cutting-edge systems. The 52 Ovation, for instance, was one of the first production motor yachts in the world to employ triple 500 Volvo IPS engines.

Boat Description

From the delete windshield, designed to withstand the pummeling of heavy seas, to the rod-and-tackle storage lockers, stainless steel bow and grab rails, recessed teaser reels, and the in-transom circulating livewell of her oversized cockpit – the 50 T-Series is earning the admiration of avid sportfishermen. She performs on a Donald Blount deep-vee hull, gelcoated in optional Fighting Lady yellow. This advanced hull design, which has secured Silverton Yachts a place among the world’s most agile convertibles, creates a tournament boat of exceptional finesse.

The 50 T-Series includes three luxurious staterooms and two private heads, a spacious salon, dinette area, fully equipped galley, and the unsurpassed space optimization characteristic of every Silverton. Bulkheads and cabinetry are handcrafted of cherry wood. The engine room is 5' 6" standup, well insulated, and cockpit accessible. To further distinguish this purpose-built sportfish from her 50 Convertible counterpart, twin MTU Series 60 (825 HP) diesels have been selected as standard power.
