World-renowned Jack W. Sarin N.A. designed the new 60 Classic using a proven soft riding easy driven modified "V" hull and deep keel. Sarin design advantages are; economical cruising - long range at 8 kts or get there at 19 kts, comfortable spacious interior because of her 17' 6" beam.
Included for your guests' safety are a Portuguese Bridge with high main deck bulwarks capped with S/S hand rails. Also included are convenient fixed forward, aft deck and flybridge seating for your guests.

"Cummins" QSM-11 715 HP Quantum Engine Series engines were chosen because of the engines' excellent long term reliability record. The 715 HP engines will provide a good combination of range and speed. To insure there will be no damage to the engine when running at low RPM, Cummins QSM-11 includes an oil thermostat that regulates oil temperature.
Economical Cruising @ 8 kts the twin Cummins engines will burn approximately 5.6 GPH for a range of 1286 NM @ 90% of tankage. Cruise at 9 kts using 8.4 GPH or 10 kts using 12.8 GPH, with a top speed of 19.7 kts when needed. Pilothouse sound levels are from 63 to 76 dB-A max, sound levels did not go into the seventies until 12 kts and over. This Jack Sarin hull design can economically cruise at slower speeds with the range of slower displacement boats when needed or a top speed of approx 20 kts when needed.
The 715 HP "Cummins" engines will deliver total propulsion control, instant diagnostics display, improved fuel economy, lower cost to maintain compared to competitors and Cummins covers the waterfront with certified marine service centers around the globe. "Onan/Cummins" generator was chosen because of the "Cummins" 1,500 global service centers around the world.
John Deere 610 HP engines can also be installed.
The fiberglass fuel tanks are forward and athwart-ship to isolate the master stateroom from engine room noise and improve trim.
Nibral propellers are made for Symbol by ZF-FPS using advanced technology. At ZF-FPS, a 4-axis machine center system is inter-graded with the CAD-CAM software and machines a propeller from a solid ingot of nickel, bronze and aluminum - providing for an incomparably smooth ride.
Symbol custom electrical service will include both 24v/DC panel and 12v/DC sub system. Shore power is 250/125v AC for more efficient operation of A/C units, HWH, cook top and Keynon BBQ/Grill. A forward 50 amp 125/250v/AC are available depending on dockside service with a custom enclosed AC selection panel for outlet choice to insure your safety.
"Charles" voltage-boosting isolation transformer, which senses low voltage from shore and boosts it as required. "Charles" isolation transformer on 50 amp incoming lines provide the best protection from shore side hazards, eliminates worries of galvanic corrosion and polarity issues.
Symbol custom back lit electrical panel for easy night viewing with digital voltage and amperage read out gauges by "Blue Seas". The electrical panels have doors to protect from accidental tripping of circuit breakers. Fuses, circuit breakers, wiring and other components are labeled/color coded for easy identification. A red LED light is on when the circuit breaker is on for quick identification.
Quality electrical fixtures aboard this 59 Symbol Classic are LED, the latest in power-saving technology.
Thoughtful touches include both 12v and 120v power outlets at the helm for recharging cell phones or handheld VHF radios.
Important redundancy is a manual battery switch that combines all battery banks if one engine charging alternator or battery charger fails, allowing one source to charge all battery banks.

What you cannot see is an easily driven modified "V" hull designed for economical cruising, deep keel to protect props and provide directional stability. Underwater exhaust system insures that the boat is relatively quiet and free from trailing exhaust fumes.
As you enter the teak sole cockpit you will notice the spacious cockpit and saloon areas have been balanced to provide you the maximum space to both. A few steps up from the spacious saloon is the Pilothouse, designed for serious navigation with a commanding view, large "C" shaped dining area, well equipped galley, comfortable top quality helm seat and weather tight doors port & STBD for quick access to decks. A convenient stairway from the pilothouse takes you up to an extended beam FLYBRIDGE featuring two settees, two helm seats, custom teak grate dinning table, sun lounge and boat deck. An outdoor galley features a Panini grill, combo ref/ice maker, sink and storage.
From the Pilothouse there is a stairway to the spacious staterooms, heads with large shower stalls, separate "Bosch" washer/dryer, commissary with storage. Through out this yacht you will notice the excellent joinery, matched light honey tone teak wood grain interior and the meticulous satin finish varnish that Symbol is known for.
The windows in the saloon are positioned to provide maximum light inside the boat with good sight lines for both sitting and standing have been carefully laid out to eliminate straining of the neck or ducking of the head to see out. Huge saloon-16' in length-for family entertaining includes a long "L" shaped lounge to STBD with extra cabinet/drawer storage forward and to port. Forward storage cabinet includes 42" LCD HDTV with an "Aritex" lift, premium home theater surround sound system and storage.
Galley is "U" shaped, located in the pilothouse convenient to serve saloon & flybridge. Large "C" shaped dining area with teak custom folding and sliding table top. Storage above counter tops, under dinette, under sink and stove top with four deep drawers outboard of dishwasher. Under counter drawer AC/DC refrigeration/freezer for extra counter space.
Also included is a "Vitrifrigo" 3.8 cu ft AC/DC marine freezer in the lazarette adding freezer capacity for your extended cruising trips.
A "U-Line Combo" ice maker/refrigerator on the fly bridge will supply you plenty of ice when entertaining and refrigeration space for cold drinks on the flybridge.
With AC/DC refrigeration you can sleep without the mechanical hum of you generator. Having separate units is an advantage if one unit fails.
Quiet full beam amidships location for your maximum comfort, featuring a centered King size 73"x80" berth with drawers and storage under. Four "Man Ship" S/S opening ports with two in the stateroom and two in the head for cross ventilation.
Shoji sliding screens for privacy with natural light, night tables with storage, book storage above and headboard with mirror. Drawers and storage console cabinet to port.
The expansive wide (14') body fly bridge, accessible both from a pilothouse stairway and cockpit ladder, provides a comfortable area for both lounging and running the boat. The helm area is raised giving an excellent sight line and outboard standing space is provided to port and starboard improving the captains view when docking. Chart area and extra handrail are forward of 1st mates helm seat.
The fly bridge was designed with additional beam by extending the bulkheads to the outboard edge of the overhang. This design provides more seating and fly bridge entertaining area. Fly bridge seating features two helm seats, two settees with storage under and a custom solid teak grate dining table.
The boat deck area of the FLYBRIDGE has over 13' of space for dinghy, crane and sun lounge with lockable storage under for fishing gear.
The fly bridge drains into a drain manifold exiting under swim platform, this system eliminates water streaks.
Your outdoor galley features a Custom Kenyon S/S Grill, "U-Line Combo" ice maker/refrigerator for drinks, sink and storage; all enclosed in an easy to clean custom fiberglass cabinet.
Hand fit teak cockpit sole-glued down-no screws. Cockpit includes seating with storage under, storage cabinet/seat, sliding polished S/S door to saloon, S/S opening window with screen, door to swim step and fresh water wash down.
Large lazarette below includes storage and engine room entrance with water tight door with port.
To reduce thru hull fittings Symbol Yacht Company has installed P & S drain manifolds for A/C pumps, shower sump pumps, sinks, bilge pumps and deck drains. The manifolds quietly empty aft under the swim platform.
Frame less windows reduce maintenance, eliminate leaks and provide a clean look.
Our cruise package includes "Wesmar" stabilizers. "Wesmar's stabilizers save fuel by removing the wave induced yaw and by creating lift to reduce vessel hull surface contact with the water, which in turn reduces friction-induced drag. They are proven to increase speed at equal RPM."
