Spice is for sale by her original owner after sailing in Maine for many years. She has received very good care over her life with equipment renewed as needed.
A Hood Stowboom for the mainsail is a great feature. Also, Spice has a hot and cold pressure water system, Propane stove and other equipment making her the perfect pocket cruiser.
The interior accommodations are typical for a cruising sailboat of this size. The main cabin is amidship, separated from the forward cabin by a head compartment to port and a coat closet to starboard. The forward cabin can be closed off from the main cabin by a door for privacy.
The main cabin is accessed from the deck by centerline companionway steps. To port is a sizable ice box compartment, accessible from the cabin for galley use and from the cockpit for loading ice. Directly forward is a U-shaped berth settee into which a portable table can be fitted for dining four to six passengers. On the starboard side is a quarter bunk extending partway beneath the aft deck, but accessible from the cabin, and which can be fitted with a bunk board for nighttime sailing.
Forward of the quarter berth is the galley top, consisting of a sink and two burner stove. The sink is provided with a hand pump and electric pump drawing cold water from the water tank. The propane stove is supplied from a propane tank stored within a vented storage compartment in the starboard cockpit locker. An electric control panel next to the stove controls the fuel supply. Ample storage space for food and kitchen utensils found beneath the galley top.
The portside head compartment contains a marine toilet, a folding sink with floor level water supply pump, and a small holding tank. The latter is equipped with a dock side pump-out port and an overboard electric macerator pump. There is ample space for towel and bunk linen above and outboard of the head.
All bunks and sitting surfaces are fitted with 3 inch foam cushions covered in blue vinyl fabric. In the forward cabin are twin v-bunks with an access hatch to the forward deck above. There is a small solar vent with a fan mounted in the hatch. In the main cabin, the portside settee can be converted to a double berth through use of the table top. Main cabin ventilation is aided by two dorade vents on either side of the mast.
Port and starboard overhead handholds are located in the main cabin.
