Tollycraft

Founded in 1936 in Kelso, Washington, by Robert Merland Tollefson (better known as Tolly), Tollycraft was known as a builders of fine quality cruising boats well suited to the waters of the Pacific Northwest. While the company was not a large manufacturer, its hand-built boats were prized for their attention to detail, and that quality garnered the brand many loyal fans. In fact, owners went on to form several Tollycraft Clubs to share their enthusiasm for the brand. Seattle naval architect Ed Monk, who helped design the boats with Tollefson, called them the "Cadillac of yachts" in 1987 when the company was sold. At that time, some 6,000 hulls had been produced and the company's premiere 61-footer sold for $750,000. Tollycraft models were no longer in production by the late 1990s.

Description/Condition

Tollycraft is a highly regarded Northwest cruiser that appeals to experienced boaters who value substance over glitz.  Her bridge has a bimini with full enclosure, twin helm seats and a large L-shaped seating area.  Just aft and down three steps is a large bimini-covered deck area with one fixed double-wide seat and room for a few more deck chairs.  All her decks are synthetic teak and her hand rails are varnished teak.  She has a nice size salon with an L-shaped sofa, table and large flatscreen TV.    The forward stateroom has a double bed, nightstands, plenty of natural light and lots of storage space.  There is an adjacent bathroom equipped with an electric flush head, vanity, sink and enclosed shower.  The aft master stateroom has a double bed, nightstands, make-up table, plenty of natural light and lots of storage with an ensuite bathroom with electric flush head, vanity, sink and enclosed shower.  She has a serving bar separating the salon from the lower level galley. The stern cockpit with transom door makes boarding easy especially if you have pets.  Her semi-displacement hull with long keel delivers superior heavy weather performance.  Odyssea is in very good shape, well maintained and ready for her next owner.  Check out the Full Specs and give us a call to schedule your appointment to see her.
