Accommodation

Generous accommodation offering 6 berths in 3 cabins with full standing headroom throughout, the saloon could also be utilised to provie further berths if necessary. Forward cabin with large double V berth and storage lockers. Guest cabin to port with single bunk beds and a storage locker. Main heads compartment to starboard with an electric flush marine toilet, wash basin and shower. Steps up to the light and comfortable wheelhouse with large L-shaped dinette to port, helm position, sliding door to deck, chart area forward to starboard and steps to aft deck door. Steps down to a wrap round galley area equipped with a large 5-burner gas hob, electric oven and grill, twin stainless steel sinks, fridge with freezer box and ample storage. Owners aft cabin with large offset island double berth, seating area, dressing table and storage lockers. Ensuite heads compartment with an electric flush marine toilet, washbasin and half tub bath with shower. Pressurised hot and cold water system via large calorifier throughout. Although no holding tank is currently installed one could easily be added if required. Carpets and curtains.

Mechanical Systems

Located under wheelhouse sole, 2 x Volvo Penta TAMD 61A 306hp 6-cylinder turbo diesel engines. Freshwater cooled via heat exchangers. Morse dual single lever controls with electric start. Full engine instrumentation. Twin shaft drives with ropecutters fitted powering 3-bladed propellers. Hydraulic trim tabs. The engine hours are currently both around 1290 in June 2013.

Electrical Systems

3 x 12v Batteries (new 2009,2010 and an older due for replacement) charged via engine alternator. Shorepower system with battery charger, immersion coil for water heating and ring mains. Solar panel. HFL Gemini diesel generator.

Construction

Built in 1989 by Kha Shing for Tarquin Boat Company Ltd to a design by Tony Chappell and C Y Chuang as the 1990 London Boat Show boat and first launched in 1990. White long keel hard chined semi-displacement hull moulded in GRP with blue styling stripe. White GRP superstructure with teak laid decks. Flybridge with folding radar arch. Spacious exterior with wide, safe decks and large aft deck for entertaining outdoors.
