Description/Condition

This is the ultimate tow, salvage, rescue, firefighting boat ever built! This boat is in excellent condition!! This boat can run in water with 6 inches of ice, tow in a 125 ton disabled ship, put out a fire on another vessel out at sea, operate in water only 3½ feet deep, can sleep 5 adults and hold over 20 men below deck, refuel another ship at sea from its own reserve and self right if capsized within 30 seconds! THIS BOAT HAS NO EQUAL!
The hull of this boat is made from Corteen Steel, which is more of an alloy that was created to resist rust. The helm, the forward cabin and rear cabin are all made from aluminum, this perfect combination makes this boat nearly rust proof. There were only 110 MLB-44’s ever built, and very few are still left in this country. With over 40 years of service in the worst of conditions there has never been an MLB-44 ever lost. What other boat can come close to that reality....NONE!!!
