Welcome aboard “Miss Michelle”! Access to the main deck is thru the port or starboard forward entrance bulwark gates via a “state-of-the-art” light weight carbon fiber step ladder or via the recessed fully hydraulic Passerelle aft. The exterior main deck and above “boat deck” are fully teak covered and offer complete “walk-around” capability on both levels as well as a unique terrace forward of the pilothouse with a built-in U-shaped settee and cocktail table. One of the many features of this 40 Meter is the enormous covered full beam aft deck with seating for 12 to 18 guests. Fully equipped walk-behind wet bar to port with bar stools and large screen fold down flat screen TV; this area is perfect for cocktails and/or “al-fresco” dining. Upon entering the main salon thru the automated stainless steel framed double glass doors, one immediately recognized the subtle and sophisticated design concepts selected by the owners. The main salon features a formal dining area all the way forward for 10 guests. China, crystal and silverware storage buffets are outboard with custom stone tops. A raised panel mahogany low profile buffet, housing twin wine coolers separates the dining area from the formal salon. There is a grouping of furniture, including sofas, ottomans, several occasional chairs and coffee tables. The extra-large windows all the way around makes for spectacular views! Forward of the formal salon/dining area is the starboard side main entrance foyer, the galley to port and day head slightly forward. The professional stainless steel fully equipped galley features a large walk-around island, a butler’s access door to the dining area and a portside deck entrance for the crew. The most forward interior section of the main deck is the “owner’s suite” with a starboard side study with built-in desk aft of the master stateroom offering a king size berth at centerline forward; his and hers walk-ins and a gorgeous onyx finished head to port. The additional four guest staterooms are located down below, at mid-ship, via an “open stairwell” to all three interior decks. The two VIP guest staterooms aft have king size berths and the forward staterooms offer a queen size berth to port side and three twin berths to starboard. A separate air conditioned large closet off the lower foyer houses the complete A/V (Kaleidescape) for all areas of the yacht. From the main entrance foyer up the open stairwell is the popular “skylounge”. Most guests describe this upper lounge as their favorite room while underway. The large windows, fireplace, “nap-worthy” sofas and lounge chairs combined with a fully equipped oversized bar with beautiful stone top and bar stools as well as a small library and day head makes for a sought after experience looking at the scenery from this perspective in a totally climate controlled saloon above all the exterior surroundings. Aft of the “skylounge” is the boat deck location via another set of stainless framed double glass automated doors. The toys, tender and wave runners are aft with the crane to port. Another fully equipped bar is to port with refrigerated drawers and a loose seating with sofa, chairs and cocktail table is center forward. A large flat screen TV is concealed in the overhead. Forward of the “skylounge” is the state-of-the-art “glass cockpit-style” pilothouse wi |
