HISTORY & DESCRIPTION:

William Waite of Clearwater, Florida set up the Windship Yacht Incorporated business during the 1970's specialising in large custom / semi custom built luxury cruising yachts often to the designs of the well known American naval architect O H Rodgers.

Sweptaway was first commissioned in 1986 and has subsequently been refitted in 2001 and 2011.

GRP constructed hull with teak laid decks and varnished teak superstructure, cock-pit and brightwork.

Luxuriously fitted traditional style interior with accommodation for six guests in three cabins all having Queen sized beds with ensuite bathrooms, Condaria air conditioning, DVD players and Plasma flat screen TV's.

Separate crews quarters for three crew members.

210hp Caterpillar 3208 diesel engine fitted in 2001 and completely re-built in 2011. Serviced by official Caterpillar engineers in Palma de Mallorca. 5.5kw Mase-Kubota Generator (2008)
