Boatsbank Privacy Policy The Boatsbank portion of the Boats.com site ("Boatsbank Site") is owned and operated by Dominion Enterprises ("Boats.com"). The following privacy statement describes the practice of the Boatsbank Site with respect to the collection, maintenance and disclosure of personal information in the Boatsbank Site. Categories of Personal Information Collected and the Means of Collection On the Boatsbank Site you can complete a pre-application form for a loan application for financing of your purchase of a new or pre-owned boat or a new engine and Boats.com will forward your completed pre-application form to a financial institution or loan brokerage ("Lender") for financing consideration. To facilitate this financing consideration of your purchase of a new or pre-owned boat or a new engine by Lender, Boats.com collects non-public personal information ("NPPI") from the following sources: Online Pre-Application: Boats.com collects NPPI from you through the online completion of a pre-application form (information such as your name, address, social security number and other financial information). In addition to the information we collect that is necessary to process your pre-application form, Boats.com collects additional NPPI from your pre-application form (information such as personal financial information, boat information, boat category, engine information, boat accessories and options, and trade-in information). Boats.com may also collect additional NPPI about your transactions with us, our affiliates and non-affiliated third parties, as well as information that we may receive from a consumer reporting agency. Boats.com's Use of Non-Public Personal Information NPPI collected on the Boatsbank Site is used primarily for the purposes it is requested, that is, for the evaluation of your qualifications by Lender to obtain financing. Boats.com may also use the NPPI to perform aggregate analyses of the Boatsbank Site customer base. This information may be used to deliver better, more relevant products and service offerings to you. In addition, Boats.com may provide aggregate analyses containing no personally identifiable information to selected third parties for the purposes of establishing, for example, advertising prices on the Boatsbank Site. Boats.com may use NPPI collected to contact you in connection with any inappropriate use of the Boatsbank Site, non-compliance with the Terms of Use, in connection with a complaint registered by another site visitor, or as permitted by law. Additional Disclosure Permitted by Law Your Right to Control Personal Information ("Opt-In") We will not disclose your NPPI, except as permitted by law, unless you "opt-in" to such disclosure during the pre-application process. To allow the disclosure of your NPPI to nonaffiliated third parties, for the promotional use of your NPPI, you must click the appropriate button at the end of the pre-application process indicating that Boats.com may disclose your NPPI and use it for promotional purposes. Your election(s) to opt in will apply to all products and services you may obtain from the Boatsbank Site. If you have allowed Boats.com to disclose your personal information, but wish to change your mind at a later time, you still can opt out later by sending an email to Boats.com with a request to opt out to customersupport@boatsbank.com. Additionally, Boats.com grants you the ability to correct, update and modify your NPPI collected on the Boatsbank Site. Changes to Privacy Statement
Enforcement The financial institution processing your loan request is required by law to provide you a copy of its Privacy Policy. To continue with this request, we must get your agreement to receive their Privacy Policy at a later date. If you agree, the financial institution will mail their Policy to you when they receive your application. If you do not agree, unfortunately, we cannot complete this loan request over the Internet. By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you agree to receive their Privacy Policy at a later date.
