  1. Egg Harbor Convertible

42’ 1993 Egg Harbor Sportfish After 12 very enjoyable years owning this Egg Harbor, my second, I’m retiring and downsizing. This continuously updated sportfish has all the “bells and whistles”, including a 600 lbs per day Eskimo Ice Maker. The ice maker is needed because this boat raises a lot of fish (the catching part is up to you). The Ice Maker pumps into an insulated cockpit freezer at the prep station which includes a sink and fresh water faucet. A 20 gallon in deck live well keeps live bait healthy for days and a 6’ long in deck fish box holds plenty of big ones.  A 4’ wide cockpit shade provides plenty of cover on those hot days. The flybridge has a customized helm with the 12” Standard Horizon CP 590 MFD (chartploter, fishfinder, radar, cockpit camera, AIS) VHF radio with hailer, etc., permanently installed in NavPod housings. The helm also contains  Simrad AP 24 AutoPilot with rudder indicator and anchor windlass controls. A 1000 watt Airmar transducer lets the Fish Finder read to depths over 3,000 ft. (needed when sword fishing). The SiTex MDS 4KW Radar has ranges from 1/8 to 36 miles. Bimini shows on the radar 45 minutes after you leave Fort Lauderdale ! The spacious salon has the galley one step down and is fully equipped and serves both the bar and the permanent dining table and seating.  The large sectional has built in storage along with a “pull out” double bed. The double bed combined with the master and the second 2 bunk stateroom, provides sleeping accommodations’ for 6 people. The twin Detroit 6-71TIB’s (turbo-intercooled-bypass, 485 hp) are well maintained and  have had the same mechanic ever since I purchased the boat. For the last ten years, engine oil and filters have been changed every 100 hours with complete oil analysis done each time. Since this boat continues to get used a lot (nothing is worse for a boat than letting sit at the dock) the engine hours are not some ridiculously low number for the age of the boat. Port - 3291 hrs., with 245 hours since “in frame” rebuild.          Starboard - 3255 hrs., 1600 hours since “in frame” rebuild          Generator – 4275 hrs., just keep changing the oil and fuel filters, runs & runs When not trolling, the boat cruises at 2150 rpm, 21 – 22 knots burning 35 gph.  With a 600 gallon tank capacity, a 4 day Bimini trip uses about ¾ of a tank. New cutlass bearings and bottom paint 9/2/2015. Dockside fish cleaning station goes with boat. Recent (5/9/2016), “out of water”, insurance survey available. Engines and Generator oil & filters changed on 8/8/2016. Latest, 8/8/2016 Oil Analysis for engines and generator available.
