    Hallberg Rassy 42 F MK II   magnificent design, built with exquisite finish and every detail well thought out;  she makes you feel safe and secure, anytime, in any weather. This HR 42 is in very good condition and well maintained.   Each winter in Europe she spent inside a storage ashore for a thorough maintenance, like now back home in Holland being prepared for new great sailing trips.  You are welcome to visit her for a first acquaintance and inspection; please contact by email or telephone, also to request for more detailed information. She is equipped for both relaxed coastal sailing as well for safe, comfortable, single handed long distance voyages with power supplied by wind and water energy. For the latter extra equipment is available expanding her basic equipment which includes: Detachable cutter- and backstays. The Selden mainsail inmast-furler and Reckmann genoa furler are both operated from the cockpit and guarantee a safe and easy sail handling. Gennaker,  genoa, smaller genoa, main sail and try-sail are in good condition. On the bow the original CQR anchor with 60m chain and remote winch control in the cockpit.    The 76HP Volvo Penta TMD-22  engine is equipped with two alternators and a MaxProp propeller, the original fixed propeller is spare on board. Shore power boards via an isolation transformer for 220 V and 12V domestic use and loading the 520Ah gel battery bank. The boat is equipped with: Raymarine steering gear, autopilot, sailing and navigation instruments. The Simrad GPS chartplotter, AP GPS, Furuno 36-mile radar with watchkeeper, true motion AIS transceiver and a relative motion AIS receiver. All these operate independently ensuring a safe navigation. For radio communications and weather fax reception are installed: Icom HF Marine transceiver with automatic antenna tuner and isolated backstay, Navtex receiver, VHF and backup VHF. A six persons RFD life raft, MOB indicating signal and an EPIRB are attached to the stern railing. At the swimming platform is a warm/cold deck shower. Cockpit illumination is fitted in the boom. The sprayhood extension offers full protection to the cockpit, while the awning extends from the rear end of the cockpit to halfway amidships. A custom made strong tent is for long-term outside storage ashore. The galley is equipped with a 3-burner gas stove with oven, a top loader fridge and a separate top loader freezer with seawater cooled compressor. Forward head: hand pump toilet, shower and washbasin, aft head: electric pump toilet, washbasin and a separate shower with seat, both toilets with holding tanks. The standard specification and details of the basic version of the HR42 F  Mk II is also shown on the Hallberg Rassy site. In addition to these, extra equipment, spare new instruments and inventory are available for longer sailing trips.
