"I feel very lucky that once again I have the support and backing of a
terrific company. Ecover has been there for me in the past and I am pleased

Organized by Sir Chay Blyth's Challenge Business, The EDS Atlantic Challenge Race is for Open 60 type yachts with between three and five crew on each leg. Starting on July 3 in St. Malo, France, the race stops in Hamburg and Portsmouth (UK) before racing across The Atlantic to Baltimore. The yachts will then sprint up to Boston before racing back across The Atlantic to finish in St. Malo towards the end of August.
The crew of 'Ecover' will draw upon a nucleus of fresh British sailing
talent with an eye towards exposing them to the extreme end of the sport,
and his team includes Miranda Merron, a veteran racer who brings extensive offshore racing experience. "The
EDS Atlantic Challenge will be my first time racing a fully crewed Open 60
and I look forward to seeing what the boat is really capable of and pushing
out some record breaking performances," Golding said.
