The in-water display of multihulls is an important and growing segment of the Cannes boat show with a wide range of models on display this year. Among them was the Sunreef 58 owned by John & Diana Jaeger from Virginia. The Jaegers wanted a boat that was seaworthy and safe with the maximum amount of sensible space for living and entertaining. They also wanted a boat they could put into charter when they were not using it and where the crew would be happy with their accommodations. The Sunreef 58 met all their expectations.

The Sunreef 58 made its first public appearance at the Cannes Boat Show.

Specifications include length 18.28 m / 59 ft, beam 9.2 m / 30.20 ft and draft 1.65 m / 5.40 ft. The living space includes an exclusive owners’ suite, 3 guest cabins and 2 crew cabins. The owners’ cabin has a king-size bed, desk and private bathroom with plenty of space for storage. Two of the three guest cabins feature double beds and private bathroom with shower. The third guest cabin is equipped with bunk-beds.

The cockpit connects to the main living area via sliding doors.

The main deck houses the galley, living/dining-room and internal helm station. Total living space of the interior is 62m2/667sq ft. The external cockpit is equipped with comfortable sofas, sunbathing mattresses, dining table and chairs. Having the cockpit and the living room located on the same level and connected with sliding doors enhances the impression of space.

Total living space of the interior is 62m2/667sq ft.

The boat is set up to be sailed single-handed sailing so two would sail it very comfortably. When needed the boat is powered by 2 x 110HP Yanmars.
