EAGLE's GIFT is hull # 38 of the 38 Swan 42's built. She was special ordered with fiberglass non-skid decks with teak decking in the cockpits only.

Eagle's Gift underwent a major refit in 2009/10 on the East Coast of the US which included a new Yanmar 56 hp diesel, new deck plan to include fewer winches and line stoppers with all lines led aft, new rod standing rigging, new headsail roller furler, new North genoa, new refrigerator and freezer, new water pressure pumps, new Jabsco head and associated plumbing, new additional diesel tank, new prop and prop shaft, new bimini, new bearings and seals for the rudder.

Available for sale because owner has purchased a larger Swan.

Accommodations

Eagle's Gift features an interior of hand rubbed Burmese teak and a teak and holly cabin sole. Up to 8 can be accommodated in 2 cabins and the main salon.

Forward Cabin

  • 2 canvas pipe berths with foam tops that fold up against the hull with rails
  • Storage bins under the berths and shelves and a hanging locker aft port and starboard and additional storage in drawers and cupboard against the aft bulkhead
  • The hull sides and sole are finished in teak slats
  • Plenty of hatches and ventilation

Main Salon

  • Tan upholstery
  • "L" shaped dinette to port with fold out that makes a small double berth
  • Centerline table with folding leaves
  • Settee to starboard

Navigation Station

  • Located starboard side opposite the galley and aft of the saloon
  • Forward facing
  • Curved seat for added comfort at sea
  • Surrounded by navigation electronics, communications electronics and 12 volt DC panel. Companionway located between the navigation station and the galley.
  • Custom cabinetry added up high and behind the companionway steps
