The Shearwater Cutter is the newest of our designs. Whether it is a weekend trip with the family, delivering a set of sails offshore to back up the crew, or a professional organisation needing a dependable industrial craft, the Cutter is unbelievably practical and will tick all the boxes.

With the recent introduction of the EU vibration at work act, we have designed and built the cutter to reduce bodily impact, and give a much improved ride quality compared to its rivals. The slim bow and fine spray rails cut through the waves like a knife and the unusually deep v hull cushions any impact making a very noticeable difference.

In the bow we have a large anchor locker. The anchor is secured in its own holder so not to damage the locker while under way. Behind this is another deep locker with a large volume for storage and with a seat above. We have a seat forward of the console and then a choice of leisure family friendly or more industrial seating behind the console.

The new Cutter console gives proper protection from the elements. The steering and controls are positioned at your fingertips making sure you are in control at all times. Directly in front of you is space for all the navigation aids you will ever require. Inside the console is a very large storage area, wake boards, boat hooks etc. are not an issue with easy walk-in access. A hatch inside the console gives access to more secure in the hull storage. Grab rails surround the console.

The deck is above water line so water naturally self-drains through a deck drain aft eliminating the need for an automatic bilge pump. This is a great advantage if leaving the boat unattended on an offshore mooring or marina berth.
