Ideal for sailing by two or for racing with crew, the 34ft/10.4m Arcona 345 is set to be a new favourite performance cruiser on the racecourse and indeed for cruising with family and friends. Her predecessor, the Arcona 340, successfully captured the hearts of many owners and was nominated in the category Performance Cruiser for the European Yacht of the Year 2010. We’ve taken inspiration from the design of the Arcona 435, European Yacht of the Year Performance Cruiser winner in 2019, and the evolution of the flagship Arcona 465 to make the Arcona 345 modern inside and out. The Arcona 345 has a slightly larger sail area than the Arcona 340 to give optimised upwind performance. There is the option to have twin wheels configured which can be upgraded to carbon. With a tiller as standard, she is very responsive. The layout provides a forward cabin with plenty of room and a good-sized clothes locker each side of the dressing area, with more stowage beneath and over the berths. The saloon has an L-shaped galley, with lots of stowage, a gimballed twin burner gas cooker with oven and a generously-sized sink and fridge; a smoothly rounded backwards-facing chart table with ample space for electronic equipment; a twin leaf saloon table, a U-shaped seating area to port and long straight settee starboard capable of seating six in comfort to dine, as well as providing two excellent sea berths on the move. The heads are spacious with separate shower facilities which is a rare and great feature for a 34-foot yacht; a deep sink, wet locker, and easy internal access to the cockpit locker through a sliding door. One aft cabin features a very large double berth, two portholes that can be opened, plenty of lockers and shelves, plus stowage under the berth. The Arcona 345 mirrors the quality and style of the rest of the Arcona fleet. With a choice between the rich Khaya Mahogany interior or the beautiful Light Oak interior, the owners’ choice of fabrics, white headlining, and plenty of ports and hatches provide light, good ventilation and unrivalled comfort. Like all Arcona models, the Arcona 345 is built with the latest materials and advanced techniques. Our Swedish heritage shows in the beautiful lines and clean functional design. The hull and deck employ vacuum infusion technology with a sandwich construction featuring multi axial rovings and Vinylester resin. The core material is 20mm Divinycell. All bulkheads are bonded to the hull and deck for added strength. Fitted with a powerful fractional rig, the Arcona 345 sports a tapered, twin spreader, keel-stepped mast and is prepped for spinnaker equipment. For strength and stability, the bulb keel is made of antimony hardened lead. The transom is open with an integral bathing platform. The large storage locker aft is accessible from two recessed hatches in the cockpit floor. Additional storage can be found in the aft end of the cockpit bench and a cockpit table is stowed in the starboard side locker. The cockpit coaming, aft deck and sole are in teak. The side deck can be specified either in teak or in Arcona’s iconic non-slip material. Ideal for shorthanded sailing, the 34ft/10.4m Arcona 345 is set to be a new favourite performance cruiser on the regatta circuit and for cruising with family and friends.
The DALE 28 was conceived to meet the needs of both new as well as long standing DALE clients who wanted to downsize whilst retaining the sea keeping and quality to which they were accustomed. A large socialising space in the wheelhouse and cockpit area as well as a cabin for two plus occasional berths for a further two were top of their list. Putting everything that is special about a DALE into 28 feet was a challenge that we just couldn’t resist. After achieving the hull design to give the sea-keeping and ease of handling expected of a DALE, our next aim was to use the architecture to create a boat with spacious accommodation for two, the comfort of full standing headroom, a large wheelhouse and cockpit for total enjoyment of cruising, living on board and socialising. We build each boat bespoke for you and just like any other DALE, there is a sense of discreet luxury and attention to detail. The Nelson inspired timeless styling tells others that this is a boat with solidity that is unsurpassed. Already confident that this gem of boat is set to be a winner she guarantees to open up endless possibilities of cruising and exploring. What a joy to helm….light and responsive providing confidence and reassurance in your absolute control. The smooth ride and effortless performance will keep you and your guests happy whilst eating up mile after mile and as your horizons extend and so will too will your memories of new places visited both near and far. Easy to handle but with true sea going credentials, her ability to fulfil the aspirations of even the most experienced was undoubted, demonstrated brilliantly during her sea trials in four metre seas off the Pembrokeshire Coast and our first 28 owners who set off from Pembrokeshire to the Scillies and didn’t return for seven weeks!! A day cruiser for six or an overnighter for either two or four, she is sure to appeal to those who seek something special. Classically-styled with graceful lines, this genuinely stunning craft offers exceptional performance with more than a sprinkling of creature comforts. Every possible need has been taken into consideration to ensure that the accommodation on board is sufficiently spacious and comfortable. Side decks are wide and reassuring and the cockpit sole flows seamlessly into the wheelhouse for the ultimate experience in indoor-outdoor living. At her first showing at Southampton 2018, customers stepping aboard commented on the spaciousness, the generous accommodation not to mention the ‘gorgeous heads.’ The story continues with further refinements and beautiful interior fit out in solid oak. Clever innovation in interior design makes life on board even more comfortable and flexible. The forward cabin is a true master cabin with twin berths, easily converted to a double berth with a combined seating area, plus an abundance of craftsman built stowage lockers and an incorporated back rest to transform the cabin into a daytime lounge. In addition, adapted from the DALE Classic 45, the wheelhouse helm seat slides forward electrically at the push of a button for when in port creating a more spacious seating area which converts into an extra double berth. Bonded flush wheelhouse side and front windows with their style taken from our new Dale 40 gives a sleek and more modern finish to complement the classic style and twin engines with joystick manoeuvring deliver a top speed of 29 knots plus. We can’t wait to test her on the water, especially considering the similarity in hull shape to the DALE 23 but with softer sections. Add six tons of boat and this is a serious craft to be considered by those looking for a fun cruising boat with the DALE credentials

She is the fruit of a partnership between our Product Strategy Committee and the Engineering department – the second yacht with external design by Salvetti and Ferretti Group, with interiors by our own architects and designers. The spacious master cabin echoes the play of colours and materials that grace the main deck, in a peerless private setting that’s a joy to discover. The minimalist yet detailed design provides a continual counterpoint to the walk-in wardrobe and the grand bathroom, where the smoked-glass inserts and functionality of form are in tune with current trends. The winning style of this desirable new model is based on a blend of contrasting textures. The striped ceiling, the ribbed surface of the walls, the grid-pattern headboards and the lounge furniture’s oblique-stripe motif play off one another in a profound natural harmony. The lighting design is an attribute that is unique to the 720. Horizontal LEDs integrate into the ceilings to create a soft, diffuse effect, while independent vertical spotlights with adjustable beams pick out original features with scenic flair. It all adds up to a sublime experience of genuine cruising comfort.
