The Figaro BENETEAU 3 is the first production foiling one-design monohull ever to be designed. A distillation of technology and innovation, it results from a collaboration between group BENETEAU’s best experts and the Van Peteghem Lauriot-Prévost (VPLP) office, the architects of the two last boats to win the Vendée Globe. The prototype has been tested and the production of the boat has been launched. It will enter the ISO/World Sailing design category A. The specifications define the FB3 monohull as being as reliable as its predecessor, the FB2. It is equipped with foils, a better performing ballast-free hull, a more slender and deeper keel, a setback mast and a more extensive and larger sail plan.
With taut lines, a stepped hull and a stylish deck plan, the Oceanis 51.1 is the first of a new generation. Easy to handle, comfortable and smart, the number of customizations available has been increased to provide more than 700 combinations. One third of the Oceanis 51.1’s hull is now stepped. In addition to the aesthetics of this flared shape, the new hull creates additional interior space allowing for exciting new layouts on a boat this size. With emphasis on taut cruiser lines, she is a joy to move around and reassuringly safe. The spacious cockpit, many relaxation and sun bathing areas, as well as an aft swim platform, promise true comfort.
Designers Roberto Biscontini and Lorenzo Argento have created a world of refinement in this 60-footer ocean-cruising yacht. With a hull length of almost 18 metres, the Oceanis Yacht 60 has a remarkable and sophisticated silhouette while preserving its elegant design and excellent marine qualities. The cockpit layout provides a sense of ease and security: access to the foredeck is at the same level via deep side decks. The two helm stations have been optimised so that all manoeuvres can be carried out without leaving the helm. On-board systems such as Ship Control and Seanapps provide control of all on-board systems and allow for easy maintenance. The bimini is available in 2 configurations. The rigid version has a central section wich slides forward to adjust the amount of cover in the cockpit. The crew will therefore always find the best compromise between protection and ventilation. The generous dinghy garage holds a 2.8 m jet-propelled tender. This tender is operated by an electric winch with a double wire system and guiding rollers to make it effortless to launch and raise.
First 14 introduces the modern world of fast and planing dinghies to novice sailors. She is a light, fast and exciting dinghy designed with the sailor in mind. The promise of an accessible, easy-to-handle and, foremost, fun sailboat is fulfilled with the design, building technology and quality materials that also simplify maintenance.
You can now experience the thrill of high-performance sailing – not only on the race course, but also on family holidays or day-sailing trips. We have made this possible through a carefully placed high-tech and meticulously designed deck and interior ergonomics, which is bringing the most important features of grand prix racing boats into the hands of a club racer or active cruiser.First 36 is the first mainstream racer/cruiser where onboard comfort doesn’t affect the experience of high performance sailing. A whole new sailing experience opens up when you can achieve double-digit boat speeds easily and in complete control. The main components of making this possible are the light weight and the world-class nautical design of Sam Manuard. An ergonomic and extremely precise steering system is also vital. With race-grade rudder blades, the steering wheels remain light and direct even when planing downwind or at higher heeling angles. To stay true to its 40 years of Beneteau heritage, a First needs to excel in fully-crewed club racing, relaxed family cruising as well as shorthanded sailing. Cockpit ergonomics was one of the main focuses in the design process. The higher wheel position gives the helmsman direct access to the mainsail winch, an important detail for shorthanded sailing.
The Oceanis 46 boasts all the features of a large cruising yacht, with a rare balance between elegance, usable space and performance. Her stepped hull opens up an incredible amount of space inside and yet her seakeeping performance is still impressive. A large number of clever customizable fittings make her easy to sail and pleasantly comfortable. The Oceanis 46.1 is based on a Finot-Conq plan, keeping the distinctive stepped hull of the 51.1. Apart from her performance at sea and the huge amount of space that set this boat apart, this architecture makes optimal use of the cockpit beam. An incredibly efficient deck plan makes her wonderfully safe and easy to use. The furling mast, self-tailing jib and all the halyards and sheets brought back to a single winch at each of the helm stations, make manoeuvring simple when short-handed sailing.
