Cruising in comfort sums up this Hunter Vision 36 as it is a great example of what makes Hunter sailboats so well-loved. A huge interior, rivalling many 40' boats with a massive stern berth, great use of real wood and a fantastic salon/dinette area for entertaining. The Vision 36 has all the interior space you need for a family or cruising with friends. The spacious cockpit with a full canvas enclosure provides excellent protection from the elements and will extend your sailing season.
This spring the current owners added two new 100Amp lithium batteries, an additional solar panel, a controller and an inverter to ensure the systems all work together smoothly with little fuss. You can even monitor your battery usage in real-time using an existing app.
With forced air diesel heat, autopilot, walk-through transom, electric winch, windlass and sails that were serviced this spring, you have all you need in an easy-to-handle northwest cruiser.
Moorage is assumable with marina management approval in Nanaimo.

The Hunter 34 was one of the last classic Hunters to be designed with performance first without sacrificing comfort.
Ge’Mara is a forgiving boat but fast in light air, making her fun to sail for the novice and seasoned sailor alike. At an inexpensive price point she offers all the amenities that make the difference between a day sailor and a coastal cruiser. Refrigeration, hot and cold pressurized fresh water, diesel heat for year round sailing and 4 speaker indoor/outdoor sound system with Sirius XM satellite radio. As a bonus, the cabin height is nearly 6’3” !! That’s a big plus for tall guys.
Up above in the cockpit we’ve added a wheel pilot for convenience and the boat comes with a Humminbird depth sounder/GPS chart plotter. A new 8’ Zodiak dinghy and outboard are also included. The lifelines and much of her running rigging have been replaced. For sails she features a brand new mainsail (2022) and a brand new asymmetrical spinnaker, along with 3 different furling headsails.
Ge’Mara has been well taken care of in all the ways that it counts: The Yanmar 3GM engine was recently rebuilt and is serviced regularly (documentation available). The hull has been inspected and treated with anti-fouling every 2 - 3 years. Cosmetically, Ge’ Mara is in good shape but is waiting for a handy person with a little time to give her some TLC. Some of her wood needs to be re-varnished and hatches re-sealed but her bones are solid.
This boat will take you anywhere you want to go (including offshore) safely and comfortably.
