A solid, go fast, cruising boat designed by Robert Perry that is a proven Blue Water wonder.  Her narrow beam and plumb bow contribute to a dry and smooth ride through seas.  Her Solent rig with double forestays allows a wide variety of head sail configurations.  A large Vectran mainsail handled by a powered winch makes raising and adjusting for wind conditions easy.   She was carefully outfitted with all the right equipment to cruise single-handed throughout Central America, The Carribean, and South America.  She has a water-tight bulhead forward and carries all safety equipment for offshore.  New 30 inch high lifelines.  She is properly maintained and ready to go again. This boat shows in excellent condition with continuous maintenance projects such as new electronics, new rigging, new bimini and dodger.  Her deck and topsides were refinished with DuPont Imron in 2017.  Her spars were also redone in Imron.  Her engine was fully serviced even though there are only 2500 hours on it.  Her sails are premium Vectran reinforced and still in good condition.   Her interior is well appointed and in excellent condition.  The interior is light and airy due to seven Ocean deck hatches and nine opening laminated glass portlights.  The interior is done in Cherry wood and Oak, Teak and Holly floor, White overhead panels with Cherry wood battens and totally upgraded cushions.  Forward she has a workshop and storage for tools/spare parts.  The master cabin has a pullman style queen berth while the aft cabin has a king sized berth.  The head is totally free of wood and easily cleanable.  The shower is enclosed with a curved sliding plexiglass door.  The salon has seating on both sides with flat screen TV and propane fireplace.  The navigation area faces the salon and has full electronics. The galley is large with a Force Ten three burner stove/oven, dbl SS sinks, separately refrigerated freezer and refrigerator, built in microwave oven, and plenty of corian counter tops.   The sailing characteristics of this Saga Yacht cannot be over emphasized.  You sit comfortably in a secure aft cockpit under a bimini while steering an oversized wheel and all sail controls within easy reach.  Her sail area ratio is 20:1 which means she sails faster than most every boat out there including 55ftrs.  She is set up for single line reefing which can be downsized by one person in less than two minutes.  This yacht is definitely worth reviewing if you intend to cruise.
