When it comes to choosing offshore fishing lures, there's more than meets the eye. Two may look more or less the same, yet one could cost twice as much as the other. Do you get anything for the added expense, or is the lure manufacturer just fleecing you? Now you know: there can be a huge quality difference between two lures. And as with most things, you get what you pay for. The less expensive lure we saw here, an inexpensive "Green Machine" knock-off, goes for literally half as much as the more expensive one, a Cousins Tackle C1220. And while that cheaper lure might catch fish, we can clearly tell that the quality level of the Cousins is far and away better. That means it'll last longer, and in the long run, will probably catch more fish.
