Okay, are you ready for day 7? Instead of swans a-swimming, we have a day of boating that will be right up Lenny Rudow's alley.  (To see what we've already covered to date, read our previous days of boating.).

Of course, if Lenny's involved... there must be fish. So warm up your vocal chords, because we've got a lot of singing to do today:

On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me

7 fishheads fishing

6 Center Consoles

5 Mega Yachts

4 cuddy cabins
3 jet boats
2 motor yachts

...and a Pontoon in a Pear Tree.

fish heads

These seven fishheads went out to catch some flounder, on the way to filming the very first episode of Got Bait?

And of course by "fish head" we don't mean the part with the eyes in it... we mean those boaters who, like Lenny, consider a day wasted if they don't pull in anything edible from the briny deep. These devoted fishermen can go out in just about anything, or even (in a  pinch) sit on the shore, as long as they can cast lines into water deep enough.

Thanks (mostly) to Lenny, we've got a ton of fishing info on the site, including 3 full length episodes of a brand-new fishing show, Got Bait? You can also

Or just stay tuned... we'll be back tomorrow with another day of boating, and it's something totally different.

Editor's Note: Most of the holiday countdowns ended on December 25, but we chose to begin ours on that date in keeping with tradition... and tomorrow it carries us right into 2015. Stay tuned for more new and used boats to gawk at, ogle over, dream about—and maybe even buy. Because what better gifts could the wise men bring you than a platform for your next boating adventure?
