Hanse Yachts Launches New 2021 Hanse 460
Hanse Yachts and French Yacht designers Berret-Racoupeau team upn to create a vessel that maximizes innovation in a modern easy sailing boat.
"Radically innovative, agile and spacious," is how Hanse Yachts is marketing their latest model, the new Hanse 460, released to the boating world on July 7, 2021. Building on the company's success the brand teamed with French yacht designers Berret-Racoupeau to create a vessel that maximizes innovation while still providing a fast cruising, easy sailing boat with a modern, sporty design look.
Hanse' Product Manager Andreas Unger said "Our new Hanse 460 is a Hanse through and through. With the flexible option list, the customer can configure the boat in countless variations, both on deck and below. Furthermore, we have put a lot of emphasis on a finely balanced sailing performance based on a tall rig with a large sail area, various keel options and a clever deck layout. Combined with the new, sporty design and the easy handling typical of Hanse, the result is an all-round winning package."

Hanse 460 Overview
This sailing yacht promises pure adrenaline for skippers while still providing a comfortable and stylish platform for a family to enjoy life aboard. She is a whole new direction for the company and the details of the yacht have been reworked without losing sight of Hanse DNA. First and foremost goal was to create a modern sailboat that delivers effortless and agile sailing for short-handed sailors and those with a larger crew alike.
“It was important to us that each customer can configure their Hanse 460 individually, so that they always have the feeling that their boat was built especially for them," says Unger. A list of options ensure owners can build the layout that is right for their sailing style and live aboard life.
Yacht Interior Design
The Hanse 460 cabin has a spacious living area with a contemporary design that exudes quality and has a lot of light. An island berth in the owner's cabin with an en-suite head and a VIP guest cabin with en-suite access plus an additional guest cabin along with an enormous galley and even a utility room are all standard. Of the 48 available layouts, Hanse can offer anywhere from six to ten berths on the 460, including a comfortable owner's suite with double island bed and bathroom, up to four separate showers and an extra-long galley.
