Now’s your chance—no, we’re not talking about some mediocre discount on hull cleaning—something bigger, long term, fresh. That’s right....Miami Fashion Week is here beginning on May 30, 2018, and it’s time to show #NonBoaters what the nautical life is all about. 'Can't Miss' Miami Restaurants, Hotels and Clubs

Seaspice Brasserie and Lounge

For a one-of-a-kind riverside dining experience during Fashion Week, Seaspice is a Miami must. Located in a renovated and refurbished industrial warehouse, this restaurant features breathtaking views of the urban skyline, a menu offering the latest ventures in modern gastronomy, an outdoor lounge space with luxurious gardens and stretches of patio, and a bar providing patrons with a wide range of craft cocktails and nectarous sangrias. Make sure to book a reservation beforehand, and you’re in for an opulent evening of nautical flair.

Kiki on the River

Right next door to Seaspice is the unique Kiki on the River. Have you ever eaten somewhere and the atmosphere just felt right? Warm, yet all while clean and graceful? North American seaside culture is so typical and familiar, so it's time to dip your feet into something different. Bringing the spirit of Greece to Miami, this seaside restaurant embraces what it means to feel at home. With a European-inspired, seafood-heavy menu, it’s as if the Mediterranean and Miami life came together to bring you a one-of-a-kind cuisine experience. Make sure to take pics for the ‘gram and show your friends what it means to eat “seaside” outside your local pier. You can find Kiki on the River and Seaspice on NW North River Drive, only a ten minute walk from our next location, The Wharf.

The Wharf

For one of the city’s hottest new spots, make sure to swing by the Wharf during Miami Fashion Week. Since it’s opening this past year, this huge waterside pop-up pavilion provides a Downtown Miami mecca of food, drink, and entertainment. The perfect hip hideaway for more low-key mingling during Fashion Week, this location features artisanal food trucks, three different bars, happy hour deals, a massive open-air dining area, giant Jenga, cornhole, and so much more. If you’re looking for a laid-back afternoon during the week’s craziness, dock your boat off the Miami River and enjoy some R&R on the turf with friends—and while you’re there, make sure to try the street tacos; they’re incredible.

American Social

When the sun sets over the Key and the pulse of Miami nightlife takes over, we recommend sailing into Brickell and hitting one of the area’s most well-known hot spots: American Social. AmSo—as locals refer to it—transitions from a sports bar/brunch location into a major scene come nighttime. This boisterous bar located on the banks of the Miami River includes a huge selection of craft beers, self-serving table-side taps, and outdoor seating with a picturesque view of the glistening Brickell horizon. Gaze out upon high rises and river boats while enjoying your pick of half-off drinks and small plates as part of ‘social hour,’ which is offered throughout the whole week. If you’re looking to hop off your vessel and venture into this prospering Miami neighborhood, AmSo is the way to go.

Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne

The bustling Miami life is what keeps us on our toes, fueling our active and wild spirits, especially during Fashion Week. But everyone needs to wind down a bit every now and then, right? Located directly on Biscayne Bay, this resort has an array of on-site water activities, including sailing and kayaking. There are also two pools, including an adult-only area. There are four restaurants and nightly tequila tastings, so make sure to come with an empty stomach and an adventurous attitude. Oh, and don’t forget about the oceanfront lawns in case you’re in the mood to throw something lavish for you and the crew.

SLS Hotel

With two locations in the Magic City (one in Brickell, one in South Beach), the SLS Hotel is a widely acclaimed destination for those looking for something perfectly posh. From wild pool parties at Hyde Beach taking place every weekend, to extravagant cabanas with top-notch bottle service, to state-of-the-art Asian cuisine curated by master chef Katsuya Uechi, the SLS is an ostentatious paradise of Miami madness. Take the party by storm and dance upon pool chairs beneath sunshine and champagne showers, all while enjoying the musical stylings of Miami’s most distinguished House DJs. With both locations by the water, you can dock your boat with ease before making an appearance at whichever SLS affair you’ve got on your agenda.

Aside from the madness, don’t forget what makes this week so incredible! Make sure to attend the Miami Fashion Runway Shows at Ice Palace Films Studios, where acclaimed designers like Oscar Carvallo, Benito Santos, and Agatha Ruiz de la Prada will be showcasing their best work. Amist “invite-only” events, these shows are open to the public and offer ticket packages for a range of prices. Learn a thing or two and rock out some of the best styles on your next yacht gathering after seeing some of these designers’ best work.

Miami Fashion Week 2018 kicks off on Wednesday, May 30th and runs through Sunday, June 3rd.
