WINDSOR, Colo. — Tim Seebold successfully defended his title Septmber at the Roar of the Rockies at Windsor, Colo., the fifth race of the Laughlin Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour presented by Bud Light. The win was Seebold's second victorythis season and his tenth career Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour victory.
"After finishing second at Saskatoon and third at Tri-Cities, I was really looking forward to another opportunity to win a race," said Seebold. "We have a tremendous boat and I know we have the ability to win at each venue."
In the 40-lap Formula One final on Rockbridge Lake, Alden Thornton took the early lead with Greg Foster and Terry Rinker chasing him. On lap 13, Foster and Rinker collided, forcing the race to be stopped. After the restart, Thornton again took command and led the race until a mechanical problem took him out of the race on lap 35.
Seebold took the lead and held it after Thornton dropped out of the field. Jason Campbell finished second, his best finish this season, and Max Toler took third.
