Selena Gomez’s net worth is reportedly $60 million—and with that kind of cash, she could live on a yacht like Goldie Hawn’s Overboard character if she felt so inclined. But 25-year-old Gomez opted for the next best thing on her vacation in Australia on Sunday: a chartered yacht.

Donning a revealing orange and black bikini, the “Wolves” singer was all smiles as she spent quality time under the Sydney sun with her pals aboard the Birchgrove. This sleek and sophisticated 50-foot Windy Sports Cruiser offers everything a former Disney star could want for a day at sea, including three luxurious cabins, a full kitchen, a plush banquet-style dining room, an inviting sundeck, and a retractable sunroof to top it off, according to Sydney Harbour Luxe Charters. Reasonably priced at $800 per hour from November to March, you don’t need several Billboard Hot 100 hits to view Sydney’s gorgeous coast from the charter’s eye-catching home on the water.

In an Instagram video posted on Sunday, Gomez—the photo-sharing platform’s most followed person in the world—shared with her 135 million followers an intimate view of her time on the Birchgrove. Set to Canadian indie pop band Alvvays’ catchy jam “Dreams Tonite,” the clip finds Gomez taking vintage-style footage of her and friends lounging and exploring the yacht.

Some of the shots also capture the city skyline and the world-famous Sydney Opera House. Famed tenor Andrea Bocelli might be proud, but not as much as Blake Lively was when she commented on Gomez’s video. “YESSSS!!!!” wrote Lively, a 30-year-old actress who shares two children with her husband, fellow screen star Ryan Reynolds, 41. The couple is connected to Gomez through their mutual pal Taylor Swift, 28. The “Shake It Off” songstress has hosted Lively and Reynolds at her sprawling $17 million waterfront mansion in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, a North East boating destination.

Not everyone has been as nice as Gomez’s fellow celebrities: Some social media users began criticizing Gomez’s figure after seeing photos of the “Hands to Myself” singer on the Birchgrove. Gomez breezed past the body-shaming, though. “The beauty myth- an obsession with physical perfection that traps modern woman in an endless cycle of hopelessness, self consciousness, and self-hatred as she tries to fulfill society’s impossible definition of flawless beauty,” she wrote in the caption of her boat-day video. “I chose to take care of myself because I want to, not to prove anything to anyone. Wind in her sails.”

In addition to her positive self-image, Gomez had a lot more to celebrate in Sydney on Sunday: The outing marks Gomez’s first time wearing a bikini in public since her kidney transplant, which she underwent over the summer due to her ongoing health battle with Lupus.

“When I look at my body now, I just see life,” she told Billboard of her post-surgery mindset in November. “There are a million things I can do—lasers and creams and all that stuff—but I’m OK with it.”

I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of. So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my overall health. I honestly look forward to sharing with you, soon my journey through these past several months as I have always wanted to do with you. Until then I want to publicly thank my family and incredible team of doctors for everything they have done for me prior to and post-surgery. And finally, there aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis. Lupus continues to be very misunderstood but progress is being made. The multi-hyphenate star revealed her transplant news on Instagram in September, explaining that a good friend, actress Francia Raisa (The Secret Life of the American Teenager), was her kidney donor. “There aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa,” she wrote of an image showing the duo in the hospital. “She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much, sis.”

Gomez’s voyage comes amid her break from on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber, according to Us Weekly. From the looks of a wind-swept Gomez on the yacht Down Under, she’s taking Bieber’s “Love Yourself” lyrics a few knots further.
