The Cape Dory Motor Yacht is a downeast lobster style cruiser built in East Taunton, Massachusetts from 1985 to 1990. Rum Runner is hull number 215 of a total production of 223. (This includes the open fisherman and 280 sport models, as well as the flybridge cruisers.) The Cape Dory is a semi-displacement hull with a draft of only 2' 11", so fuel usage is a very economical 1.5 - 2 gallons per hour at cruising speed of around 10 knots. The engine was totally rebuilt in 2008 with 1649 hours on the meter at time of rebuild. Professionally maintained and winterized by Anchors Away Marina in Marblehead, Ohio. Batteries were replaced with two maintenance free Gel-Tech marine gel batteries in 2013. Custom teak swim platform was also added in 2013. Canvas weather covers for flybridge, windshield and rear door window, all in good condition. Flybridge bimini on stainless steel frame with Sunbrella cover, also all in good condition.
