Sea Ray 55 Sundancer

The 2009 Sea Ray 55 Sundancer, which became rebranded in 2010 as the 580 Sundancer, is a luxurious and impeccably designed yacht that offers unparalleled comfort and functionality. With its two-stateroom layout and expansive cockpit, the 55 Sundancer is the ultimate boat for entertaining and relaxing in style.

This vessel underwent a significant upgrade in 2022 with the installation of two new FPT Marine engines, now with only 114 hours and 825HP each, in lieu of the 765HP MANN 800CR engines previously installed. She also is powered by a 21.5 Onan generator.  

The exterior of “Man O War” features a hydraulic swim platform, teak flooring in the upper cockpit, JL audio speakers, and a Fusion sound system. The large aft bench seating area includes a high-gloss table with two removable chairs, while the midship customizable carousel seating in the cockpit enhances versatility – providing the perfect space for social gatherings. The cockpit also has a fully equipped wet bar complete with sink, ice maker, fridge, electric grill and a mounted flat screen TV.  

The helm station is designed for ease of navigation and comfort, featuring fully adjustable dual captain’s seats with excellent visibility and a double-wide companion seat on the port side. The hardtop is enclosed and includes two independent retractable sunroofs and power side windows, offering both protection from the elements and a connection to the open air.

The helm is equipped with dual Raymarine Hybrid Touch screen GS series color displays with GPS, plotter, radar and autopilot with a smart controller. Bow and stern thrusters ensure effortless maneuvering in any docking situation.  

Below deck, the cabin has rich dark cherry cabinetry with ample storage, a pop-up flat-screen TV and an L-shaped Ultraleather settee with a slide out that converts this into a double bed, allowing 6 adults to comfortably sleep on board. The U-shaped galley is both stylish and functional, featuring a hidden microwave oven, a three-burner electric stove, a refrigerator, a freezer, a sink and ample storage space.  

The forward VIP stateroom offers a queen-sized island-style bed, a large closet, and private access to the day head, ensuring comfort and convenience for guests.  

The full-beam master stateroom, located midship, features a queen-sized island-style actuating bed with massage function, a full dresser, ample storage, a mounted flat-screen TV and access to the full ensuite head
