2020 YAMAHA SVHO DARTH VADER MODEL .A COMPLETE RACE QUALITY BUILT ENGINEIN THIS WAVERUNNER NOW CALLED AN FXR350 SVHO LIMITED EDITION . THIS IS THE FIRST AND ONLY COMPLETE RACE BUILD FXR350 THAT HAS BEEN MADE . A RARE BIRD INDEED .
THE SVHO IS PRICED AT $29,995 AND IS A COMPLETE RACE BUILT ENGINE . WE BUILT IT TO NOT BREAK . I HAD NO INTENTION OF USING IT FOR RACING . JUST WANTED THE ABSOLUTE SVHO BULLET PROOF BUILD .IT IS A TRUE 350 HORSE POWER ENGINE CRAFTED FROM ALL CUSTOM RACE PARTS . ONE OF A KIND .JL PERFORMANCE USA IN MIAMI BUILT THIS ENGINE. EVERY PART INSIDE HAS BEEN ELEVATED TO A RACE QUALITY PART. IT TOOK 1 AND A HALF YEARS TO AQUIRE ALL THE PARTS BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC . ONE OF A KIND . IT TOOK 4 MONTHS ALONE TO GET THE ENGINE BUILT .RIVA RACING SVHO INTERNALS UPGRADE WAS DONE .
2000 DOLLAR CRANK CASE BALANCING WAS DONE AS WELL WHICH WAS ESSENTIAL TO THIS HIGH BUILD ENGINE . THIS IS A COMPLETE STAGE 3 FROM RIVA RACING . THE TIAL BLOW OFF VALVE WAS ADDED . THE TIAL BLOW OFF VALVE IS AN ESSENTIAL PART FOR PROTECTING THE ENGINE. RELEASES 99 % PRESSURE FROM THE SYSTEM WHEN YOU LET OFF THE THROTTLE .
A 2000 DOLLAR SUPERCHARGER CLUTCH WAS ADDED FROM DEANS TEAM RACING AND IT WAS BUILT BY COLIN RICHARDS ANDEANS TEAM RACING . THIS SUPERCHARGER CLUTCH IS ADVERTISED AS INDESTRUCTIBLE . THE PHOTO SHOW USE HOW MUCH BIGGER IT IS THEN A STOCK ONE . THE RACE VALVE SET WAS ADDED .
EVERY NUT AND BOLT AND BEARING AND TIMING CHAIN WERE SWAPPED OUT FOR THIS 100 PERCENT RACE BUILT ENGINE . JL PERFORMANCE HAS THE WARRANTY FOR THE SVHO BECAUSE THEY BUILT IT THEMSELVES.
IT HAS 6.9 HOURS ON IT . IT STILL NEEDS 3 HOURS OF BREAK IN TIME . IT IS TUNED FOR 91 MPH AND THE REV LIMITER IS SET BACK TO 89 MPH JUST FOR ADDED PROTECTION . THE REV LIMITER CAN BE OPENED TO 91 MILES PER HOUR .
JL PERFORMANCE DID THE TUNE ON THIS , NOT RIVA RACING . JL PERFORMANCE TUNES GO ABOUT 5 MPH FASTER THEN A RIVA STAGE 3 TUNE . IT IS THE FASTEST BOAT I HAVE EVER BEEN ON .
IT HAS HAD A VERY EASY BREAK IN PERIOD SO FAR . ONLY 2 TOP SPEED TESTS WERE DONE AFTER 6 HOURS .THE GRAPHICS PACKAGE WAS 900 DOLLARS ALONE . THE GEN 3 WATER BOX AND THE COOLING UPGRADE KEEPS THIS ENGINE NICE AND COOL .
I SHOW MOST OF THE UPGRADES IN THE PHOTOS BELOW FOR REFERENCE . EVERY NUT AND BOLT AND EVERY SUPPLY LINE, EVERYTHING , WERE TIGHTENED DOWN TO THE PERFECT NEWTON METER . 2 PROFFESIONAL SLICK COATS WERE ADDED . BRAND NEW BATTERY FROM BROWARD WAS JUST INSTALLED . THEY DID A WATER TEST AND THE ENGINE IS RUNNING PERFECT .
I HAVE THE SVHO ENGINE COVER THAT GOES OVER THE SPARK PLUG AREA ALSO . I KEPT IT OFF FOR THIS VIDEO AND LISTING SO YOU CAN SEE THE ENGINE .
JL PERFORMANCE USA IS OWNED BY JULIO , AND HE HAS STATED TOO THAT THIS ENGINE WOULD BE VERY HARD TO BREAK . YOU DO MORE OIL CHANGES ON A HIGH BUILD THEN A STOCK ONE TO KEEP IT LIKE THAT. MAKES IT LAST AND LAST . HAS THE CARRILLO RODS AND PISTONS FROM THE INTERNAL SVHO INTERNALS UPGRADE . THIS CRAFT WILL BURN 93 OCTANE LIKE IT HAS OCTANE BOOSTER IN IT . THE E.C.U. FLASH RECOGNIZES AND ADJUSTS FOR THE TYPE OF FUEL YOU USE .
IF YOU WERE RACING THIS , COLIN RICHARDS HAS STATED THAT YOU SHOULD DO YOUR OIL CHANGES EVERY 10 HOURS . HE HAS PEOPLE WHO HAVE OVER 240 HOURS OF RACE COMPETITION WITH NO SUPERCHARGER CLUTCH FAILURE .
